The experience at Shaw Inn, Gulmarg was quite disappointing. My father went there with his father, and the stay did not meet the expectations set by their fancy promotions. The package included a free massage, but the so-called professional was conveniently “on leave.” Instead of informing us properly, they arranged for some local guy who had absolutely no idea what he was doing. It was a joke – clearly untrained, unprofessional, and made the whole thing awkward and pointless. This kind of mismanagement and false advertising is not acceptable from a place claiming to offer premium hospitality. Would not recommend it based on this experience.

Wonderful property, excellent keep, very good services, more than satisfactory facilities, nice hospitality by all staff members but a bit costly. we had a very cozy stay

Excellent Stay
The property is very good, located near major attractions like golf course, skiing, Gondola ride etc.. Rooms r spacious, staff is friendly n helping Breakfast was good!

peaople are very good but only problems was water bottles charges
They are charges for water bottles also of 47 rupies per small bottles . They are given aro normal waters

The rooms were clean and washrooms were clean with hot water available throughout. The room might feel a bit small due to short ceiling compared to the pictures but definitely cozy. Food was very good, staff were courteous. A good stay

Perfect stay covered in snow

I booked super premium room. Further, wrongful charge was there in the dinner bill from restaurant which was changed after pointing out. This is not expected from a property like this. Another thing, there was a noisy boon fire party going on till midnight which was totally unacceptable in a location like this where people go for enjoying serenity. Further, the bonfire, which was happening infront of the main lounge, was not accessible for all the guests. This was again not very welcoming. Property needs to amend its rules and regulations.

Good experience
Rooms were good, staff was polite and helpful. Property location was good. We left our gloves in the hotel. When we called the staff they located our gloves and promised to send us by courier. We are waiting for the courier. We were living in room no 301 for two day's 26th checking and 28th checkout. Food was good. Room service was good.

We stayed at the shaw inn for 2 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. Captain moi n and gulzar were attentive and ensured our dining experience in the restaurant was truly memorable. A special mention to chef mustaq for the delicious, top-class food that we thoroughly enjoyed. The room service was prompt, and the staff were consistently polite and courteous, making us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would highly recommend the shaw inn to anyone visiting.

coupleThe hotel is situated around 10 mins walk to gondola ride. The property is nice amd mountain peaks can be seen from second floor rooms. Breakfast spread is good. Not that extravagent but is good. Food is tasty and prepared on request as well. Spending few days in the lap of nature and the mighty himalays is great!

Satisfactory stay
Location and ambience of the property was good. Could have added few more amenities accessible to customers like pool, gym etc. Considering the price they charge for a room.
