The rooms were great at The Sarai. The lawn was the highlight with mountain backdrop. The staff was super courteous and helpful. The receptionist Mr Lateef was super welcoming. The housekeeping was proper and clean. The food options were limited and frequent short power cuts were the only issues that could be improved.

The Sarai in Srinagar has the ambience of beauty and serenity, felt like walking into a secret garden. There are beautiful mountain views outside the window and the rooms are elegantly designed and well maintained. The reception team is friendly and willing to help, including Faizan, The restaurant is excellent, offering meals with variety and tasted great. The Chef and service team are awesome. It’s really a nice place to stay and would highly recommend it.

The food was another highlight everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Property is nicely located and major attractions are within the perimeter of 8-9 kms. Property does have ample of parking space. Hill view is available from the rooms. Rooms are spacious and next to new. Staff is cooperative and very humble. Food is also quite good. Kahwa served as welcome drink is a must must try.

*2/5 Stars* My recent stay at The Sarai was average, and unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. While the hotel's amenities were decent, the unprofessional behavior of the staff was quite noticeable. Their attitude and lack of courtesy made the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, I found it surprising that water was chargeable after the initial two bottles. Given the rates charged for the room, I would have expected complimentary water throughout my stay. Overall, while the hotel has its strengths, the staff's behavior and the water policy left a lot to be desired. With some improvements in these areas, the hotel could certainly enhance its overall guest experience.

Food is good, location is a secluded with no facilities around the vicinity, however hotel has a very good service.

The location is a bit away from city so it’s hard to explore surrounding areas after around 7pm as all street lights are off in the locality of the hotel. The hotel and the premises is good. The rooms were quite big and spacious. The bed linen was not dirty but it seemed old and overused. The washrooms were nice and clean. The breakfast food was mostly the typical indian food (idli, puri bhaaji, eggs) on all 5 days of my stay. The staff were all very friendly and supportive with any of our needs.

The sarai is a good hotel. The staff is helpful and rooms are comfortable. Food was also good. Although, it seems a little overpriced. But i’d recommend to anyone wanting to explore srinagar. It’s a little outside the city, around 5-6 km from dal lake. So it may take some time to reach the hotel from the airport. But, all the tourist attractions are close by.
