Terrible Stay
Worst stay till date. Property is large but without any services. They don't provide us breakfast. Also bathroom well not maintained. Telephone were not working to call reception. One was there only two rooms were equipped. Didn't like experience at all.

Very bad hotel with shabby rooms, non functional fans, ac. Front desk was non cooperative. The bathroom was full of insects and we saw a small insect in the bathroom which looked like a small snake

Fabulous five star stay at the Royal Riviera Kumarakom
Thank you Royal Riviera, Kumarakom for making my stay a splendid one. I was with my family and a 7-month girl child. As soon as we reached the hotel we were greeted with our name and smile by few staff and the manager Rajesh. The manager is from North India so we felt comfortable as we never had any communication problem. We were made comfortable and welcome drink given was fresh grape juice. Rooms given were neat and clean and had view of the Vembanad Lake and rooms had good amenities as well. We took rest and in the evening we went for the shikhara ride and this resort has complete facilities in their compound. We used the natural pond for pedal boating and fishing. They give local angling rod. They have a large pool which is clean and outdoor and indoor games. They have sunset view point and an ayurvedic massage centre. Plantation tour is done inside the resort as it is a big resort. During dinner my small baby was taken careby the receptionist so that we can have the meal comfortably. All in all a superb place to stay and enjoy. Well maintained property. They have separate kitchen for Vegetarians. Thanks Royal Riviera Team and keep going.

Never ever book this hotel. Totally wastage of money.

Rooms were not clean
No mini fridge as advertised. Bed sheet was dirty

Good Stay
Heater was not working well and the overall cleanliness was very poor. The staff in the reception Mr Ranjith was so helpful and had a nice dealing during check-in and checkout time

Terrible Stay
Room was not properly cleaned, so much dust and insects. We couldn't sleep properly. Staff attitude is okay. Room is big enough but properly cleaned and maintenance.

Money minded
coupleNot value for the money, after spending lot of money booking the hotel we had to spend more after checking in and it’s not worth. For omelette they charged 200. And the food were not cooked properly and the hotel is in Chippendale not in Kumarakom

Poor stay
Services were very bad. Rooms were not clean. Sanitary fittings were of very poor quality ... Pool was not clean. Change rooms were very bad, no lights, nothing. Showers were not working. Not worth to stay

Below Average ... Very Off place
Booked this Property at Kumarkom through Make my Trip ... This Property is 2 star ... Not even three ... Rooms were not properly maintained. Buffet breakfast was cancelled ... Food was also below average ... Only good thing is Backwaters are 100 meters away and you can easily take boat by walking ..

Awesome place to chill
This hotel provides best food in Kerala. Rooms were clean ... Hotel offers free swimming and pedal boating. Have free games section as well .. In short it's a best place in Kumarakom to chill with your family
