Our experience at this resort The service was terrible. We had our dinner order taken at 6 PM, only to be served at 9:30 PM withsorry, I forgot" - no apologies or explanations. To make matters worse, other guests complained about dirty bedsheets. And if that's not enough, the path to our room with water spilling from the kitchen and wash area onto the walkway. If you enjoy going hungry, , and compromising on cleanliness, this resort is perfect for you. Avoid it unless you want a memorable bad experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained, adding to the comfort of the stay. The highlight was definitely the amazing view from the property — truly breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Great view with a railway track.. blue mountain train runs every 30 minutes once. Rooms were very clean and hygienic.. very good staffs and food ! Overall value for money

WiFi and TV was not working and food quality was not up to the mark and there is a lot os noise coming in the morning for some construction work.

Our experience with the service and food was average, and it seemed the staff was stretched thin. The restaurant's capacity also appears to be an issue, as it struggled to accommodate all guests. We also noted that the resort is currently constructing a new restaurant space in an area that Google Images suggests was previously a lawn or kids' play area. Unfortunately, the ongoing construction work did impact the peacefulness of our stay due to noise. On a positive note, the resort's location does offer the unique experience of being near the toy train track and tunnel. While these are interesting to witness, it's worth noting that the path to access the train track is somewhat dangerous and not maintained by the resort. Overall, Kanavu Valley View Resort provides good rooms, ambience, and views. However, improvements are needed in service and food quality, and increasing the staff would likely enhance the guest experience. It's also important to be aware that the property is situated approximately 3 km away from Ooty town.

Stay at Kanavu valley resort was awesome, Rooms were very neat & clean, valley view is also very beautiful, food was good, staffs behaviour were also good

The rooms have an amazing view but the breakfast is very average with limited food options and quantity. The room didn’t have towels and other basic necessities. The on demand barbecue though was amazing in taste

Home like food and fast service by hotel staff. Hotel location is very nice, it’s mid of valley view and fully covered with nature. Mr. Raj did nice welcoming and provided too good service however room could be better maintained and cleaned, hotel should increase staff for providing better service to customers provided hotel cost is on higher side

Had a great stay at kanavu resort. Good location and well maintained property with view to valley and toy train route. Had kids play area and nice dining space and part area. Rooms were clean and neat with a large water heater.

Everything is bad about this hotel. Upon arrival hotel management kept us waiting for 3 hrs in spite of advance booking. I paid money for a premium room and was allotted a low grade room. Food is prepared in the afternoon by a house keeping staff. Rooms are full of house files and have a bad smell. There are no amenities just a small place. No intercom and room service. The owner of the hotel is rude and the entire staff. We spoil our entire ooty trip just because of this pathetic hotel booking. Not family friendly. Request to consider other options that are available.
