I have stayed with better hosts in India as well as in abroad. Firstly multiple requests were made to check in just an hour due to work commitments before the normal check in hours which was later taken into consideration. On the check out day, she made a fuss on the cigarette ashes which was trashed in her bin. According to her, the trash made her apartment smelling of the cigarettes which was just an unreasonable excuse to deduct money from security deposit. I repeatedly told her that the cigarettes were smoked outside of the society premises (in a club) and later trashed in the bin along with other personal trash. I also offered her to buy an air freshener if her flat was smelling of the smoke but she made her mind to deduct 2500 just for the smell that itself proves how desperate a person can be to make extra money on such baseless grounds. The bedsheets were changed, there was no toiletries, no dental kits at the property. The house was cleanly maintained and just for ashes she created a ruckus. Is this justified to deduct 50% of the amount just for smoke smell which can be eliminated by a full bottle of air freshener. She kept on putting false allegations that we smoked in the apartment without realising that flat has a fire alarm as well if we have done that. To top of it, she constantly used sarcastic statements at us despite I being respectful and threatened me to show our chat if I give negative reviews. (Without realising that even we can do the same)
