Pool was excellent although not very clean thanks to birds flying all around. Property needs some upkeep as you can sense it has not been redone since some time. Room AC suddenly went kaput at night and disturbed our sleep. No smart TV in the room so disappointing. Food - breakfast spread was limited and with almost NIL healthy options. Chef added butter to our dosas despite asking specifically for ghee dosa. The chef was rude enough to tell his staff loudly to throw away the dosas in front of us. For lunch, the manager was courteous enough to offer us a complimentary dish for dinner when the chef messed up our lunch - made it spicy despite our specific instructions to make it otherwise. Gym - needs a huge revamp.

Place is excellent. Very well maintained. The staff are very courteous and polite. The food is awesome. Entire resort is very beautiful. The swimming pool is top notch. Just a few points which can be considered. The rooms felt very cold even after switching off the ac. The restaurants are very costly. We had just 4 rotis for ₹750. They need to have more swimming peripheral in the store.

This hotel is very far from the main Link Road and the approach road is also in a very bad shape. The property is extremely run down by now. It is difficult even to open the room doors without a lot of effort . I helped the elderly couple in room next to mine to open their door. Our room was given to us at 2.30 pm after a lot of follow up and promise every 10 mins that it will take 10 mins more, when the checkin time is 12 noon. The hotel had very few guests and the occupancy was quite less but in spite of that we did not get the room on time. I was also told that all rooms of the hotel are not operational. The breakfast is very average and there are hardly any options. There is no valet parking and guests have to park their vehicles on their own. There are only a couple of options of restaurants for lunch and dinner. Some of the staff in the restaurants are not well trained. The air conditioner in the rooms has limited range and you need to call the technical staff to adjust the temperature. The entire staff of the hotel including the reception are not welcoming and they don’t even have the basic courtesy of greeting the guests. The Retreat club has a lot of facilities but they are not in a good shape. There was no staff at the club to guide us on the usage of the air hockey and the billiards table. Both these were covered up and we could not play. The Table tennis table is very old and the rackets are worn out. The Chinese restaurant is open only will 10.30 pm which is too early to close. The television sets in the room are old and there are only free channels available. We could not watch the IPL matches on TV. Positives - The swimming pool is good and well maintained. When we went to the restaurant to have evening coffee we were not charged for it and that was a good gesture. The a la carte food quality was good in both the restaurants. The in room dining staff was quite courteous.

Ambience, food and hospitality was very good. But I thought food was very expensive. There were assorted biscuits where they gave basic ₹5 biscuits and they priced ₹94. The food price needs to be reduced rest all was good.

The Retreat Hotel and ConventionCenter is best place to visit with family. All staff are friendly. Worth staying in Retreat hotel. All room are sanitized and clean. Food and Beverage are Good. Love staying in Retreat Hotel and Convention Center.

The store cld havr more things like earphones and other essentials , beach timings cld increase by half hour ., the Experience was Very good 🙌

The Property is good and spacious but there were a few glitches which I have listed below 1) Terrible Fishy Smell all around the resort 2) Birds creating Havoc around the pool, you are feared to death to swim in the pool since the crows, pegions and kingfishers which they have kept as pets fly so low on top on your head, you practically cannot swim at least till 7 pm 3) They charge you even for cutleries if asked from the room service, and the charges are exorbitantly expensive which is 250 rupees per plate. To top it all they don't even provide you with a spoon or fork if asked. 4) Breakfast Buffet is very average with limited spread 5) They don't even provide a body wash in the washroom, you need to bathe with a soap which is not expected from a resort like this. The experience of the resort in all is very average due to these issues.

The property is overall good and the staff is very helpful. Food was good in taste but there is still scope in variety.

Everything was excellent and services were bang on time and with great quality. Food is little expensive but for a 5 star property, it's fair enough. Thank you to the "The Retreat" team to make our stay memorable ❤️
