Lovely Beachfront Hotel with Attentive Staff
Stayed at The Promenade and overall had a great experience. The seaside setting is unbeatable – waking up to the view of Rock Beach is the highlight. The coffee was excellent, and the breakfast buffet had a huge multi-cuisine spread, definitely something for everyone. Our sea-view room was clean and hygienic, and the staff were extremely helpful, constantly checking in to make sure everything was fine. Valet parking was convenient too. The only drawback was the soundproofing – you can hear everything happening in the corridor/floor inside your room. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay with warm hospitality. Would recommend it for the location and service, especially if you enjoy staying right by the sea.

Excellent Stay
Excellent service. Food is gorgeous especially at the Bay of Buddha. It was a delight to watch so many women working for the property. The location is right on point, cannot get better. highly recommend. Upasana fron Front Office, The Bay of Buddha manager ~ are a few special mentions who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. thank you

Excellent Stay
The property is very conveniently located. Most of the major attractions were very close by. What fascinated us the most was the behavior of the staff. They were extremely cooperative and always ready to help with a smile. Food was amazing. Every meal, be it Indian or continental, was a feast for the taste buds.

Wonderful Stay by the Rock Beach
I stayed in a sea-facing room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, with plenty of options to enjoy. The location couldn’t be better—it’s right on Rock Beach, making it very convenient for walks and exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, great service, and an unbeatable setting.

Outstanding location, excellent rooms, perfect food. The food is so well balanced with mild and tasty flavours and mild spice levels . The staff are very polite and helpful. The management looks into small details to make our stay comfortable. The whole vacation felt like “Home”.

The best location to say at given time so easy to access anywhere and right by the beach , I have already stayed here twice and will keep coming down every time

Good Stay
Location, food, amenities, and services were all good. Room size and Bathroom sizes are small. Staff were good, kind, and helpful.

Terrible Stay
This is the worst stay i ever had in a 4-5 star rated property. Let me start with the reception itself, there is hardly any waiting area except a 5 seater space. Secondly , the receptionist is in dire need of hospitality training . We reached around 1pm and requested for an early check in (like all other guests were doing ), it would have been absolutely fine if he had just said that the room won’t be prepared till 2pm. Instead, he kept on stalling us saying it will be ready in 30 min while we waited patiently for an hour. Thirdly, there is no sound proofing at all. You can hear every horn and buzz going on the street from inside the room for which you paid 10k bucks per night. Goodbye sleep! Fourthly, their WiFi is pathetic and the food is passable. And how can i forget to mention their swimming pool which ends before it starts. The only ones sincerely working in this hotel are the doormen. If the manager is reading this, please train your male receptionist as to how to tackle such common incidents else stop calling yourself four star property.

Good Stay
Hotel promenade provided excellent choices of food for breakfast in buffet, lunch and dinning is bit expensive than standard price. Location seems pretty good, facilities could improve like spa and AC was not Upto standards

The Promenade , a premier hotel for good stay in Pondy
Location is perfect , it’s a premier waterfront property, adjacent to the iconic lighthouse, Mahatma Gandhi’s statue and an excellent spring point to the attractions in White Town. Food is good , staff friendly and obliging and ricks easily available for nearby transport
