I booked a pool view room and they provided another one and when I questioned about the same they informed that the existing team extended their stay and didn't leave. I paid higher rates for Pool view but no one from the property acknowledged the same and took any steps...Otherwise it's a good and calm place..

Family vacation.Experince was good. Pros- Eco friendly.Beautiful landscaping.Well maintened. Food is good .Staffs are good. Cons:- Needs lot more improvement from price being paid . Food menu can be revised to include tandoor. Basic bathroom ammineties to be upgraded.

Food was average with less choices, and the room was not clean with lizards and cockroaches around the mattress and finally the price is not worth for the room and location.

we did stay on 1st aug to 2nd aug 2025 at templetree retreat in pondicherry.we are form dubai travelling around the world. we found the above resort the worst in our experience. the airconditioning was not working and they attending.still it never working.when we reached the hotel night we found frogs inside the room. the childerns got panicked .they ran out screeming. when we called the manager there was no response only at 11pm the gardener and one helper came and took the frogs out. moreover the door lock was not working how can a person stay in the room with out door lock working. At last we all people stayed in one room. the next morning the GM came and enquired the incident.we explained everything.by the time everything was over. night 12pm he offered another room.before that all were sleeping in one room . til we left the aircondition was not working in both rooms . now we are sending a letter for refund for the one room.

Our stay was good. Staff were really friendly and the landscaping was tardy and eye-candy. Food was tasty too. One improvement area I could think of, could be the lighting in the room as it was a tad dull and hence some bright lighting could really make the stay more memorable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our vacation and would highly recommend to our friends and family. We would surely consider a revisit too.
