Excellent Stay
The stay was awesome. Aesthetically designed, it is a perfect place for staycation. If you r planning for pondicherry it is slightly away. For auroville ashram it is near by. The rooms are very spacious and the view of swimming pool is scenic!!! Except for the distance of 25 min from pondocherry white town, we didnt find any negatives about this place.

Good Stay
I booked a pool view room and they provided another one and when I questioned about the same they informed that the existing team extended their stay and didn't leave. I paid higher rates for Pool view but no one from the property acknowledged the same and took any steps...Otherwise it's a good and calm place..

Stay experience at temple tree retreat
I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. Stay was good. Staffs behaved well. Amenities are good. Breakfast time and menu can be improved

A good stay
Family vacation.Experince was good. Pros- Eco friendly.Beautiful landscaping.Well maintened. Food is good .Staffs are good. Cons:- Needs lot more improvement from price being paid . Food menu can be revised to include tandoor. Basic bathroom ammineties to be upgraded.

Property was good and calm Two things which was not upto the mark is the taste of food and the lighting inside the villa and common places.

Average Stay
Food was average with less choices, and the room was not clean with lizards and cockroaches around the mattress and finally the price is not worth for the room and location.

RESORT TEMPLE TREE RETREAT.PONDICHERRY.
we did stay on 1st aug to 2nd aug 2025 at templetree retreat in pondicherry.we are form dubai travelling around the world. we found the above resort the worst in our experience. the airconditioning was not working and they attending.still it never working.when we reached the hotel night we found frogs inside the room. the childerns got panicked .they ran out screeming. when we called the manager there was no response only at 11pm the gardener and one helper came and took the frogs out. moreover the door lock was not working how can a person stay in the room with out door lock working. At last we all people stayed in one room. the next morning the GM came and enquired the incident.we explained everything.by the time everything was over. night 12pm he offered another room.before that all were sleeping in one room . til we left the aircondition was not working in both rooms . now we are sending a letter for refund for the one room.

location and ambiance very good . room cleaning well. swimming pool water awesome. but worst food . collecting amount for food online and none of the menu not available for dinner. food for money totally wast

Poor Service
Food spread was bellow average. Service was pathetic. After 930 they were not will to give even water. The tariff was very high compared to the amenities. 27k for two night was very high compared to the services and rooms

Positives: Resort Room Location The spa and therapy Swimming pool Breakfast Negatives: Dinner service was bad as they were focusing on buffet only. Reception - no one was picking up the phone at any time. No coffee/tea services in the morning

Staff is very courteous and very good service. location is bit away from white town. about 20 mins drive. Amenities are decent.

check in was quick .. room was very spacious and neat. Resort maintained so well. well clean n clear swimming pool had a great time with family.. complimentary breakfast was so gud. paneer tikka we ordered for dinner is not that gud. other than that room service was soo gud. must visit for family who opts for calm space and family time.

A pleasant stay
Our stay was good. Staff were really friendly and the landscaping was tardy and eye-candy. Food was tasty too. One improvement area I could think of, could be the lighting in the room as it was a tad dull and hence some bright lighting could really make the stay more memorable. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our vacation and would highly recommend to our friends and family. We would surely consider a revisit too.
