very close place to the visitor center of auroville and it's shops, restaurant and café - just a 3 minutes walk. big rooms, hot water and a very good working ac. safe place for me as traveling as a woman by myself. badrinath was really helpful for exploring auroville and showing cafes and shops a tourist wouldn't find. i can totally recommend this place!. at the moment i get a very good indian breakfast in my room every day. but now i have seen the great kitchen where breakfast is served when more people are here and got there an unbelievable delicious meal. so badrinath guesthouse has really to be rated by 5! i'm sure i am coming back!!!

I booked a homestay at Badrinath House for 2 days with my family members. Going to the pros - Special thanks to the Cook Lakshmi for providing us with a wonderful and delicious breakfast on day 1 of our stay. 10-15 mins Walkable distance to Matrimandir Auroville Cons- Room conditions were so so.

There was no cupboards even there was no table to kept our luggages. No hygiene was there in the room, old bedsheets and blanket they have provided. Really it was an worst experience.

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom. Our host was a great host and there when you need him, Very nice and wants to share all hé know about the area. We had a great stay!

Experience staying in this property was terrible with family. Following are few highlights why was it terrible: 1. Ac condition 2. Leaking bathrooms 3. Bad odder in rooms, 4. Ac water outlet in gallery, 5. Lift was not operating and need to ask to put on the lift everytime. 6. No prior preparations of rooms, when we arrived caretaker started preparations i. E. Towels, blankets, soaps etc.

Value for money with good kitchen and hospitality. Very nearer to mandir. Walkable distance only. Rooms are spacious with nice beds.

The hotel was isolated. No shops nearby. But the room which we took was quite big! Property manager not available all the time. No room service except the cleaning ladies. No kitchen. Room was awesome with balcony and extremely spacious. Property owner is an advocate and the people answering phone are bit harsh however little helpful too. Property is calm and peaceful. Breakfast was just idlis and upma which was okayish. Good for families and group of friends who don't need shops nearby. Overall it was a good stay considering the spacious and well-equipped rooms. But bring paste on your own. We had to lend it from another guest. They offer you one small soap and 1 sachet of clinic plus shampoo for 4 people.

Peace, close to aroville, clean and kind staff.

The location was good, peaceful and situated outside of Pondicherry. Kind of cleanliness, facilities and security they provided were good. The rooms were big and comfortable. I want to recommend this property to others.
