I recently stayed at Hotel Rivieraa, which is conveniently located right on the main street and just about 500 meters from the beach. Overall, my experience was okay, but not great. I had booked interconnected rooms, and unfortunately, in one of them, the AC kept turning off frequently because the MCB kept tripping. This caused a fair bit of inconvenience as I had to keep calling the reception multiple times to get it fixed. On the positive side, the staff were polite and responsive, and the complimentary breakfast was hygienic and tasted good. However, I’d suggest the management to improve the cleanliness and hygiene in the common corridors and inside the rooms, as they definitely have scope for improvement.

I have paid for lunch, but I could not get proper lunch at the hotel. First, they said they will be deducting per day out of the bill. I spent which appears to be ridiculous and the next day I did refund lunch. I hope you for which you would get for which I have not taken the lunch.

Comfortable & Compact
Very comfortable & compact rooms for couples. Food taste better than outside hotels. Hotel staffs are very kind. I was checked in at 11 o clock even on that time also they're very polite & very professional.

Very bad experience. No hot water. No food at hotel in night. Very minimal response from reception not enough toiletries provided. Not provided extra bed even after reminder

Terrible Stay
It was the most horrible stay. 1. We did not get the right room. We booked room with balcony but we got one without. So we had to fight and get one with balcony. 2. Poor customer service 3. 4k per day is very costly for this hotel. Where is the cashback

Worst experience!
Reception staff was rude, no sea view rooms in this hotel. I have booked basis on reviews that hotel has sea view, they are saying book rooms which is mentioned as sea view but when i have asked him to show me it’s not showing as well. He was asking to pay extra for sea room but please don’t pay it because they don’t have any sea view room. Food is also worst, we have ordered chilli pane-er it was waste of money we didn’t even eat it just replace it, still they have charged for it. They don’t even know how to cook bread omelet, i never eaten worst omelette than this, veg cutlet was like no taste in there food, we have everything returned them but still they charged for everything. Staff is also rude, they don’t know how to treat customers. I personally advise don’t book this place there is no sea view.

Dear guest, thank you for sparing your valuable time to leave your feedback. These days are mandous cyclone in puducherry and chennai. So, power flex-ions only, we run the generator up to 18hrs. Hot water is not a problem (morning 05:30 am to 11:00 am)

Rivierra's awesomeness
Had a pleasant stay at hotel rivierra. It was completely hygienic. We got beach view rooms and it had private balconies. Excellent room services. Centralized ac, tv with prime, netflix etc, hygienic bathroom, availability of food (but we didn't have there, tried local cuisines in pondicherry. Ample amount of parking space for cars n bikes, they even arrange you for rental bikes, if required! quiet beach is at walkable distance and serenity beach is hardly 2km. Property is located in the outskirts of pondicherry beside ecr, 4-5km from white town! worth every penny!
