Booking was confirmed as 1 king size bed but the room which was given was two single bed and cot was joined together and stated as 1 bed which is not right and it was so uncomfortable as well.. i would not suggest as the rest room was also pathetic untidy ..

We stayed in hotel rani and rani residency for a day and felt very good and safe. The only issue was with the power cut sometimes. Other than that, the stay was very peaceful.

Worth the price. Helpful front office

It's a well maintained property. If you are thinking of auroville, this pretty close by. Special mention to Ms. Saraswati at the front office. We reached late and the restaurant was closed, she made arrangements and food was cooked exclusively for us. It was delicious and very humane gesture by her. Very prompt and courteous. Definitely a good place to stay

Property is located 750 metres from the serenity beach. You have ample space for car parking which is why i chose this hotel at the first place. They have a roof top restaurant where the food is provided at reasonable cost. It's good too. The room is neat and spacious. They rent out bikes for your trips as well at rs. 400/day. I look forward to visit this place at my future trips to pondy.

familyThough the restaurant and room service related to the restaurant and the food was good, the hotel itself is not well maintained. The rooms, sheets, pillow covers, curtains are stained. Sufficient amenities are not provided except two small soaps and a towel. Some of the switches, lights don't work, even the door lock wasn't working, when it's about safety. They are charging more than they are providing in the name of quality and cleanliness.

One thing I liked about this hotel is that there is a common washroom which can be used after checkout or before checking in, can take bath there, also there is a facility of ironing the clothes. Restaurant is also nice. You can check in before an hour of checking time, but if you are cheking in before 1 hour, you have to pay 600 but yeah. You can always negotiate.
