Review Of THE ASHOK BEACH RESORT

The stay was excellent and the rooms were all good. Even though I had an AC water leakage complaint, the hotel management immediately shifted me to another room without any hassle, which I found very humble, professional, and a sign of good customer care.

Very old property though they are maintained well not worth for the money paid. Avg breakfast option and there is no place for bar need to have in the restaurant. Sea view is good put not worth for 11k

Good resort for family stay. Sea facing rooms are really great asset for this hotel and overall it will be a good experience staying for 2 to 3 days

The beach is really good. Toilets can be little more cleaner. Staff & their service is good. Restaurant food is good but bit costly

Awesome experience, tasty food, complementary breakfast is comfortable and very good amenities. Beach is a bit deep but private access is good. Bathroom had leaking ceilings other than that very nice stay, huge property.

Disappointing experience at this resort. Compact bathroom with leaking tap, poor amenities, and subpar food. Not worth. Better options available in Pondicherry

Extremely disappointing experience at this resort. The cleanliness was shockingly poor — rooms were dirty, bathrooms unhygienic, and the overall property looked completely neglected. Staff were unprofessional and unresponsive to complaints. Basic amenities like hot water, Wi-Fi, and room service were either not working or extremely delayed. The food was tasteless and poorly presented. For the price paid, the quality and service were nowhere near acceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this resort — not worth your time or money.

Property was great, room was good. Just that the bathroom was smelly. We asked for from freshener multiple times and the housekeeping staff obliged. Food was decent.

Location is very good. Food quality also good. Amenities are so so. They have a private beach. The lawn also grass green and very well maintained.

We had a great experience at The Shoka Beach Resort. Very well maintained property. The location is absolutely perfect with a private way to the beach which is walkable from where the rooms were located. Very beautiful ambience with talk trees and well maintained lawn/garden. Good Food, Good service and amenities like the swimming pool & spa are additional benefits of choosing to stay here.

The property is good. however, there is a lot of things which are not maintained well. Proper maintenance will ensure good experience for the visitors

The bathrooms in this place are AWFUL. They smell, they're connected at the vent with the room next door and their main bathrooms are for both men and women. Honestly the worst part is the smell, these bathrooms smell ALL THE TIME, even after getting cleaned. The food is poor. They don't have coffee which is shocking, especially because you can find filter coffee all over TN. What they serve is average at most. The rooms are alright, not the best. We literally stayed for 1½ day and in that period the TV and the telephone both stopped working. The housekeeping service is lousy, their response time is slow. We went out for 4 hours and our room still wasn't cleaned. We had to wait another hour outside for it to be clean. We had booked sea-side view, we got a room with plastered windows. Honestly, it was painful. Find somewhere else.

Not Value for money. The hotel is too old. Dirty bathroom. Not enough space in the room. Pathetic Biryani 😡. Swimming pool was good. Enjoyed good breakfast Beach view is good 🥰

We went there for a three night stay.It was really good and very good for the price.Food was very expensive hence didn't try.Its better to have food outside in the French colony or restaurants like banana leaf and Dindigul thalpakati and stuff...but otherwise servive ,ambience everything were really good...liked it a lottt❤️

We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pools, the lush green lawn, and the beautiful beach sunrise in the morning. Overall, it’s a great place to visit. The warm welcome from the front office staff made a great first impression. The resort’s surroundings, restaurants, and especially the breakfast spread were excellent. I particularly liked the live dosa and omelette stations. The direct beach access was a major highlight. The only area for improvement would be the room service staff
