Disappointing Stay at Hotel Regenta OMR, chennai

I recently stayed at Hotel Regenta with my family 1&2 oct, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues.
Firstly, the hotel's key card system was inefficient, and our card was deactivated when we went to the pool. This left my kids, who were wet and shivering, stranded outside until we managed to get a new card. This was not only inconvenient but also embarrassing.
Furthermore, the food quality was subpar. We ordered honey lemon potato, but what we got was French fries soaked in honey and chilli flakes - a pathetic attempt at a dish. To make matters worse, the western chicken and mashed potato was half baked or grilled even the beer we ordered was not chilled, and the opener was missing.
The hotel's security was also a concern, as we noticed that there were no CCTV cameras in most areas, including the corridors and swimming pool entrance.
The only redeeming factor was the mall located next door, which provided some much-needed entertainment for my family.
Overall, our stay at Hotel Regenta was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to others. The traffic on OMR was also a hassle, but that's not the hotel's fault.
Room for Improvement:
- Efficient key card system
- Better food quality and attention to detail
- Improved security measures, including CCTV cameras
- Enhanced overall customer experience
