I have stayed at Ramada in multiple locations in the past and always had a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, this particular stay did not live up to the same standard.
Despite the check-in time being 2:00 PM, I was asked to wait even though I had arrived at 3:00 PM. This was disappointing and not in line with the efficiency I have experienced in other Ramada properties.
What struck me most was the treatment at the time of entering my room. The reception instructed the staff to lock the minibar right in front of me, and when I enquired, I was told that access would only be granted if I paid an advance deposit ofThis practice was not only surprising but also felt quite appalling and insulting, especially given my prior experiences at various star hotels where such measures are unheard of.
On a positive note, the breakfast spread was good, and the sub staff were courteous and attentive, which was a redeeming factor in an otherwise unpleasant stay.
Overall, it was a shabby experience that fell short of the brand promise I had come to expect from Ramada.
