Review Of Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences

me n my family had a fantastic stay.i loved everything about this hotel, overall ,I highly recommend this hotel for ur next family travel if u r at kolkata .

First of all thanks to Make my Trip for making all these processes so easy. And second the food, the stay, the hospitality was excellent! Everything was so welcoming! This is my third time staying with the Novotel Kolkata and every single time they are always so helpful! Would love to visit them again in near future!

all are excellent except room quality and space .need improvement. Food quality was delicious. check in was well discipline.

Service is not good

It’s again those old boring room ... still those old tv and dark room lighting.. if we blindfold someone and take them directly to the room , no one can say that , they are in a room of Novotel..

It has been a great stay, the room was very well neat and clean, all amenities were in place. Had a very comfortable stay.

Our experience has been very bad!! From checking in to checking out. Service has been worst. Front desk is useless, very rude and doesn’t behave properly. Room service is pathetic and room size is also very small. Very very bad experience in a so called 5 star hotel

Had a lovely 1 night stay at Novotel. Prompt service and courteous behaviour from all staff members. The only disappointment was the electric kettle provided to us, it was rusty and slightly dirty. The replacement kettle was also of the same quality. But overall an excellent stay.

I had some urgent work so I didn't check-in in the hotel

nice....comfortable stay....food quality very good....plenty options are there...well behaved staff...proper location.

I checked in 2am and found room of this absolute 5 star property is not clean and has stains. Later i ordered couple of food and beverage items. They asked you need to pay immediately as your room is not posted on system. Later i gave feedback as the food isn’t upto the mark. They said commi 1 has made it let me try again, again is was pathetic. Who does that? Moving forward television didnt work. And iron also didnt work. I was convinced never coming back to this brand altogether. In morning breakfast was not good . Average 2 star i would give out of 5 . Morning requested for bell boy 3 times for luggage handling as it was difficult to drag luggage on carpet. But to my surprise no one came. I managed myself and then it was simple for them, sorry sir. We will check. Hospitality is on edge with lot of brands serving top quality in everything be it service, room or food. Never coming back here plus there was paint job happening without knowing informing guests if any guest is allergic. I was not comfortable. Very bad hotel over all.

Food, Location & Other facilities are very nice but I have a very bad experience here that I have missed my jeans there and after check out on next day when I have asked for this then they have totally denied. So, I have moved to TAJ for stay on 15th.

The staff was good but the room service was little slow , Arpita at the desk was very helpful and the breakfast was amazing

The property location is good. Rooms look good and neat. I had a terrible experience on both nights. The air conditioning just stopped working at night. One hour after complaining 3 times the maintenance person came and readjusted the duct and said it will start working in half an hour. 1 o'clock in the night and he expected me to adjust for another 30 minutes. The food both in breakfast and buffet dinner was horrible. They were serving stale food. Mutton biryani stale, idli rubbery, coconut chutney sweet, gulab jamun hard and stale. Omlette half done, Desserts tasteless. Avoid this hotel. The only good thing here was the front desk staff, very courteous and apologetic for the experience. Just avoid it.

The stay was pleasant. Stayed here for a short business trip for 3 days. breakfast and dinner had many varieties and the swimming pool was awesome with the perfect temperature of water..

Stay was good food was good staff behaviour was good. Hassle free checkin and checkout and clean room

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Novotel, and my experience was truly exceptional. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering both comfort and luxury.

FO service is very poor, they're not even polite to the guest, if someone have doubt, it's their job to solve, I'll give only 3 star I think this is good enough for them
