Review: Novotel OMR, Chennai
The hotel was easy to reach from the airport and the location was decent. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
Hospitality was average – despite a delayed flight and extremely late check-in, there was no courtesy shown in extending the stay, and I was charged half-day price at checkout.
Rooms appeared old and lacked sophistication, not up to 5-star standards.
Breakfast buffet was mediocre. During a busy time, I requested seating assistance from the manager who asked me to wait and never returned – a disappointing display of guest neglect.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming. This hotel does not live up to a 5-star rating and is more appropriately a 3-star in terms of service and quality.
