    The room was really good. The stay was very comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was also a very good experience. Coming to food, there were a lot of variety of food options. I chose the MAP Plan which included breakfast and dinner. The food was the best part of the hotel.

    Here are the things that led me to my opinion: - The shower is broken and stops midway, so you basically hold the knob and stand the whole time and also have to be ready to walk upto to phone with soap in your eyes. So be prepared to just stand there till the water actually starts flowing. Yes, that’s what you pay for. - The shower area is flooded the whole time you are in it. So you get great access to drainage water while you are actually trying to clean yourself. - The water kettle has in it and hasn’t been washed for ages. So you’d better get your own when you come here. Wasted bottles of purchased water to simply get simple hot water. A replacement kettle was the same. - Breakfast is simply . If you like uncooked omelettes, papad like dry parathas and an infinite wait for a simple Uthappa, do try this place. - Towels are old, brown, and worn out. - Water bottles are unsealed and have no assurance of freshness or usage by the last customer. So carry a lot of luck while coming here. The only thing that is working fine and is the reason this place is still open is the courteous staff. The property has nothing to offer at a 5 Star level.

    The restaurant was cleaned and the seats were wet and we were made to sit on it. The food was below average and compared to the other hotels in the area overall was not worth the money

    I know this property since long. In my earlier firm, I used to stay here. Restaurant, bar ,Gym, Swimming pool. Drink in front of swimming pool with your friends are really amazing- I see couples / friends are enjoying when I was in the Gym.

    I have made the booking one week prior for me and my colleague. And have booked for premium bedroom- twin beds. they have given me the room but it was interconnected with another room, when I have asked about they said " in the other room and as I have asked to change my room they said they don't have any twin beds available in any room and had given me a bedroom with king size bed. There the washroom lock doesnt work and is super hard to lock, the mirror lights was not working. we have paid a good amount for the stay and checked in only at 5.30 at the evening, still such a pathetic experience

    **Novotel Chennai - Chamiers Road** This stay was a complete waste of money and patience. We travelled for a three-night family trip due to a medical emergency, and we faced several issues. The kitchen menu, particularly the buffet, was unacceptable; the quality was comparable to street food, and the dinner and breakfast options were the same daily. The housekeeping services were also lacking, with a shortage of staff. Front desk employees were performing multiple roles, including those of the bell desk & bell boy to deliver & collect luggags in the room and housekeeping. On one occasion, a front desk staff member even came to our room to deliver drinking water. We found ourselves having to call housekeeping every evening for cleaning after returning from the hospital. This is a very small property and badly manged. We chose this hotel because we have generally had positive experiences with the Novotel brand, particularly in Kolkata. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing.

    The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also of the right size and clean. The buffest breakfast had a good spread, and the food was quite good. The coffee was great. Overall, our stay was comfortable .
