They don’t have a warm heater, no warm water, no drinking water facilities just a terrible service

Very good experience. It's neat and clean. It is just amazing, joyous and hygienic to stay at new hied i house boat at dal lake, srinagar at ghat no. 7

The houseboat owner was rude, not approachable through phone, had to face lot of difficulty in finding the boat. Also, the houseboat was not well maintained, bad smell in the boat. We would have loved to extend our stay for couple of more days, however, were forced to leave because of inconvenience

An average houseboat with with not so good amenities and no staff, basically managed by owner and his family. But comfortable and low cost and friendly. Cleanliness is also not too good.

First of all they called me around 7 PM and told me that we won't be able to come to the Houseboat after 9 PM as there won't be any Shikara present at that time. It's a false information. 2nd. we managed to go to the houseboat and came to know that we have to book another room in some another houseboat as the information provided is not in aligned with their understanding. Imagine, 10 PM, my parents (both above 60 Yrs), my Kid (11 Yrs) and a busload of luggage, I am convincing them that the houseboat won't sink if they allow one more person in the room, for which I had already paid. Finally, 3000/- convinced them the boat won't sink. Horrible experience.

There was no light no water no staff when we arrived. Got room after waiting for 2 hours

The owner didn’t return money also and threw us out of the hotel
