New Sea Palace Houseboats

We had a very bad experience with boat staff member, he allowed random sellers into house boat no space for privacy and we need to pay crossing boats which will pickup ans drop to Ghat in other house boat they will provide from their end. Boat staff are very money minded and arrogant people. Avoid this house boat at the end he forcing everyone to give 5 star feedback once done then he will show his true colours.

It was very comfortable stay at new sea house boat. Location was great. Excellent pick&drop service. I will definitely visit again.

A very comfortable place to stay. The houseboat is well equipped with all the essentials and has great views. The caretaker, inayat bhai was very helpful and attentive, and a good cook. I would highly recommend this houseboat.

Terrible experience. Even basic amenities were not provided in the room such as toothpaste, only one towel, toilet kiy. We had paid for dinner and breakfast. The food that was offered to us was not proper. There was no one to serve food also. Infact these guys ruined our houseboat experience.

I stayed 2nd time in this house boat and i found very good facilities and very good staff. This house boat is located at very good view.

Nice and excellent stay. Ishfaq is very kind and his behaviour is very good. Highly recommended. This house boat is in the centre place of the dal lake.

Hot water not coming from the tap. Bed mattress is bigger than bed almost we fall from the bed, bed size is not for couple, no comfortable sleep, no hand wash is provided, no toothpaste, brash, or other amnesties are provided, food is good, no personal ferry for transport from the boat to road, they charge for early morning ferry transport, staff behaviour is good, interior design is good. Over all waste of money, because all over design is waste things when basic amenities are not provided on the room.

It was damn terrible place and stay. They don’t have facility of locking our room. They don’t have a single cup of milk for a baby. They don’t have any personal shikara for going outside for any purchasing. Don’t have proper electricity.

Excellent stay, delicious food, wonderful hospitality and beautiful location. Ac and heater facilities were also very good, stayed comfortably in minus temperature. Behaviour of the owner is very good, felt like family.

Prefer staying in houseboats during summers. Also early morning check-out cost you extra, as i paid 500- to a shikara guy just to take me to the road from the houseboat.

The house boat is neat and clean. Wet-her is awesome but their are few electricity fluctuations. The house boat need to improve food quality.

First of all i don’t understand why it has good ratings it’s worst experience. House boat is very smelly heating system is not working. We are freezing all night and behaviour of care taker is very bad. Please do not stay here.

It was hygienic and clean so no issues there. But missed basic things which affect experience - no water provision (you need to pay for that, not friendly staff (borderline rude approach, not value for money (no dinner included, no towel, nothing other than bread butter for vegetarian breakfast. On top of that as you share common areas of the boat with others, you don’t get the privacy if you’re particular about that. Though i guess privacy will be a concern at all houseboats not just this one. Overall neither a very pleasant experience nor value for money

Very good place to stay..neat & clean room, washroom. Staff was very cooperative (Zahoor) owner is also vey friendly…overall a good place for vacation
