location - perfectly located by the Nigeen lake service - top class food - We are vegetarians and we're very satisfied with the food room - We were in the junior suite and the room was very spacious and comfortable, though in room amenities can be improved as those were basic for the price The outside land area can be beautified too to improve the overall experience

The houseboat was very well maintained & well managed. The manager shoaib was very courteous & helpful. The caretaker was also a very nice guy. Rooms were clean & well maintained. We had dinner at the houseboat & food was prepared fresh & was delicious. Overall a good stay

familyWe stayed one night in new york houseboat. The experience we had is just awesome. Starting from checkin to checkout the process was very smooth. Location - the location of this houseboat is easily approachable. Car can drop you directly at houseboat so you do not need to take boat ride to enter into houseboat. It's situated in nigeen lake which is isolated and not at all crowded. So your stay will be very peaceful. One can enjoy the beauty of lake by just relaxing at the deck. Houseboat interior and cleanliness - it is very very clean. You might think that it's a brand new houseboat. I was shocked when i got to know the age of houseboat. It has 2 rooms and 1 suite room. We stayed in suite room and it's huge in size. It has big toilet which has big jacuzzi. Room has all the necessary facilities. Houseboat has big common dining area and seating area. The deck area is also awesome. One can sit there for hours and enjoy the sunset. Food - food is very delicious. They will give you the options in veg and nonveg. You can enjoy kashmiri dishes as well. Dinner and breakfast was just too good. In case there are other tourist in the houseboat then they will make sure to give you privacy and will keep separate timings for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Most important part service - excellent service provided by shoaib who is a houseboat manager. He is very very friendly and supportive. Starting from checkin to checkout shoaib was continuously checking with us what we need and immediately made sure we will get what we need. Shoaib is very polite and humble. He is a great person. We felt like we know him from years. Shoaib, thanks a lot for your service and we really appreciated it. We got an opportunity to meet owner of this property shame-em sir. He specifically came and met us in the evening and spent time with us. We had great discussion on various topics. Shame-em sir is very polite and made sure our stay is comfortable in the houseboat. Thanks a lot for giving us great experience staying in your houseboat. I will surely visit again this houseboat and recommend to my friends and families.

Made my trip memorable

Staying at houseboat is a must for anyone who travels to Kashmir but to be honest we had kept last night at houseboat so that if is not good out holiday will not be spoiled. But when we checked inn we repented why we did not stay for a longer period and why only 1 night. There is no space left which I could recommend to act. They are perfect in every detail of work. I will next time spend most of my holiday in New York Houseboat and recommend it to all with my closed eyes.

Amazing house boat. We stayed for 1 night at the house boat with map package. The location is interiors which is cool & calm. The house boat is in nageen lake & no need to go by shikara. Rooms are awesome and recently renovated with modern amenities of washroom such as jacuzzi. Excellent wooden furniture & carving. Food was awesome and excellent we had breakfast & dinner. Staff is very good & hospitality experience. Worth deal to stay

Staying in a houseboat is a wonderful experience. Newyork houseboats are really very clean. Location is fine. Food was OK I wont say good as the main chef was out of town when we visited. But overall I wd recommend this one if your looking for a houseboat in luxury department
