Young Bombay Premium Heritage Houseboat

Easy check-in experience. Had extremely delicious home cooked dinner at a very reasonable price. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. The owner was very humble as well. However, the power was not stable and we faced power cuts. It was a good stay after all.

It was good experience, staying at this boat house, bilal is best to take care of everything there. Rooms were comfy and cosy, must stay.

The location was good, dal lake is overall very dirty around all houseboats. Food was good with decent variety and quantity. The boat was very neat and clean and the interior was so good, equipped with wifi, ac, tv, and good service

Very bad quality of room. Dinner tasted really bad though breakfast was ok. Ac was switched off throughout our stay indicating no power.

It was a horrible experience with no power for 60% of the day. Basic power was available but not power for room heater or bathroom hot water. In 0*c if these guys can’t provide basic heating then they should not take reservation. When asked to the owner, he was rude & was like everyone here is staying like this.

Power backup is only for ligh not for heating & hot water & almost 40% time light was not there. No refrigerator no tv no balcony/terrace as mention earlier not a 4* property it is only 2* property. Breakfast is good but only 1 thing up-ma & tea is served

Power cut issue, the property owner demanded extra cash. Food was horrible, amenities was good and service was also good.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The heating system is excellent and hot water was available all the time. The living area and the dining areas are also well decorated. The dinner could’ve been tastier though. U mar was very helpful.

Not a four star property. You can order only two items in breakfast. No terrace no balcony as promised.

The houseboat was very well maintained and the staff was very well behaved. The food was simple and homely. The only thing which could have been better was the location. This houseboat is in the smaller lake so the view of sunrise gets blocked.

The staff is helpful and booking included shikara rides. The view was good with a lotus farm in front. The stay is good as well

Right from check in till check out, the stay was fantastic. The rooms were clean and spacious. While hygiene can be an issue at most houseboats, this property was neat and clean. Bilal and u mar were excellent hosts. The dinner they served left a satisfying feeling. The quantity and quality is top notch. The shikara ride (which was included in our package) was equally mesmerizing. Best way to explore dal lake. They also provide complementary shikara rides to come to the ghats unless it's too early in the morning (before 7am. For early morning requirements it is chargeable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend this to others who are looking to stay at houseboats.
