Awesome experience ..good location (Dal Lake)...good services especially Siraj

Only the location of house boat is good otherwise everything stinks as you go inside. Bathroom is terrible, no hot water and smelly water.Bedsheets and blankets smell very bad.Dont think they are washed. Lighting inside is very dim. People are good but the overall room quality is pathetic .

We stayed here for one night. The complimentary port transfer from the Ghat 19A was done as per offer. The room was equipped with a heater. However it stopped working since midnight and we struggled to sleep in low temperatures for the rest of the night. The food they offered for dinner was below par. However, their polite nature had won our hearts.

Very poor maintenance and food served most ordinary.

Staying at heevan houseboat in kashmir was a unique experience with both highs and lows. The houseboat itself is beautiful, with traditional kashmiri craftsmanship and intricate wooden carvings creating a cozy and authentic vibe. The location on the serene lake, surrounded by the stunning himalayas, offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was warm and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, which was truly appreciated. The shikara ride arranged by the houseboat was a highlight, allowing us to explore the lake and its vibrant floating markets. However, the food was disappointing and did not meet expectations. I would strongly recommend not opting for the in-house meal plan and instead exploring nearby restaurants or cafes for authentic kashmiri flavors. This could significantly enhance the overall experience. Despite the food issue, the charm of staying on a houseboat and the mesmerizing surroundings make it worth considering. With some improvements in the dining experience, this could truly be a standout stay.

Complimentary shikara till houseboat is available but you have to give tip because they insist a lot

I booked this hotel for my parents as they were visiting srinagar for the very first time. I was little worried booking a hotel in the lake as my friends told me not to book it. But all my worry went away because the hotel was very clean, good looking and aesthetic. Food was very tasty. The owner and the staff were very friendly. So, i will highly recommend the hotel and i will definitely book it for myself when i will visit srinagar. Thank you to the hotel staff for taking a good care of my parents while there stay.

It’s one of nice houseboat to stay in srinagar. I stayed here for one night. Specious, neat and clean rooms. All rooms have ac. You can get beautiful view of lake and mountains from the boat. Staffs were very friendly. Average breakfast. My check-out time was at 12pm, after knowing my flight timings owner extended it, thanks to that.

Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Amenities and Service We stayed for two nights on a houseboat Unfortunately, the AC stopped working after 2 AM, and there were power cuts that made the fan stop as well. The staff's indifferent attitude made us feel trapped with no alternatives. Overall, the experience was far from relaxing or enjoyable.

It was a wonderful and pleasant stay in heevan houseboat. Beautiful view. Will give 5 stars for the ambience of the houseboat. Very big rooms with ac, bath tub, dining hall. We a group of 10 senior citizens enjoyed a lot. Thanks a lot ya-seen bhai for your lovely hospitality. Highly recommend.

Food is not upto the quality, non ac room was provided. Also power supply was not available in the morning hours. Cleanness issue.

We had a very good experience in heevan houseboat. Perfect location for who want to stay in dal lake. The housekeeper is also friendly in nature. Definitely recommend tourists to stay in heevan to feel heaven

No facility in room. Bathroom was poor. Lack of water. No hot water available. Bad food. Not worth the money. Very bad experience.

Worst food ever. No tv, sockets, entertainment options available inside. Though view is good from the hotel but not worth the price they are charging.

Location is near ghat 19a, away from the hustle of the dal lake. Ghat 7 to 14 are a bit crowd y and active. Hot water facilities are good. Bathroom was clean and hygienic. Only 1 towel is provided. Request to include 2 towels per room. A better hygiene on the towels to be maintained. Breakfast was ok. Poha, bread butter jam and tea. Did not have dinner at the property so no reviews.

Had an amazing stay here. All the facilities were so good. And the food was just wow! had a great time watching the entire dal lake view from the balcony. Just felt at home.
