Houseboat New Golden Flower

this was werst experience of my life I treaveled allmost world but this house boat give me very bad behaviour they have heater everywhere but no running only in December it was too cold rather due to cold we check out one day early and stayed in hotel please don't advise to eany one to stay in house boat spacially in which we stayed I need my money back in my cradit card from where I paid

Clean houseboat nice hospitality decent food recommend to everyone coming to kashmir to stay here.

There is no electricity in boat till my check out, don’t tell there any one in houseboat to book taxi because there is setting from taxi driver, make your own arrangements

Ammenities that were written in the description while booking was not there, there were not hot water supply, it was freezing cold but there was no heater and washrooms were really bad dirty towels and for three guest they just provided two towels when i asked for another they refused to give

This place is good we stayed there for 1 night. They served very nice dinner. What we did not like was there was no hot water. N breakfast was not good at all. They need to improve breakfast quality.

I took my family to kashmir in october and spent a night in the house boat. The house is in the nigeene lake, which is smaller than dal lake but less crowded. After coming arriving at the srinagar airport we went to the house boat aroud 3 pm. The owner of the boat arranged a motorised shikara for us and asked us to get ready by 4:30 pm for the ride. We had some biscuits and qawa in the house boat and boat arrived well before the time. We started the ride around 5 and reached back around 7. We covered all the important spot in the dal lake and did some shopping in the floating market. As it gets really cold in the evening i would suggest to carry winter clothing. In the night we had asked for non vegetarian food. Again on time the dinner was prepared and given to us at the table. It was homely food with chicken curry, rotis and some vegetarian dishes. Morning we woke up late around 9 and had a simple breakfast. We enjoyed the stay here. As most of them would take house boat for a day, this house boat is a good choice. It has good rooms, warmly staff, good food and a nice location.

Booked two rooms in this houseboat for one night. There were two senior citizens and a baby with us. First of all, there is no way to reach the houseboat other than the boats. We were charged an unreasonable amount of 500 for doing to and fro to the houseboat which was never told to us earlier and which should be included in the total tariff. Don’t know how else they expect their guests to reach the houseboat -by swimming? secondly, there was no facility available at the boat, not even a bottle of normal mineral water. Think about that, especially when you’ve a baby with you. We had to take the boat again to go to the market to get basic drinking water and some food - extra money to loot for them. The boat was so hot that it unbearable to even stay for an hour, there is no ac, just the fans. We had to leave their property within 2. 5 hours. When we called the owner asking why he never mentioned about boat charges, he said he’d enquire, but never did!

Okay houseboat. Not so hygienic. I stayed only 1 night. Food is not so good. Lake is gud. View from house boat is also nice

Veer bad hospitality, location is very far from dal lake, no proper arrangements for guests like stairs is available, staff behaves rudely is extremely expensive for the price and service the offer, i do not recommend this to anyone

Food quality was worst even he didn't tried to provide breakfast after knowing that we are checking out little bit early morning. Approx 7:30am

Worse hotel ever

For services there was a single man who is waiter manager and i think owner no electricity back up forget about ac in 34 degree temp even fan was a luxury generator timing was on board 08 am to 20. I booked this houseboat for two days but didnot have courage to spent 2nd day so booked another hotel. In name of booked dinner jilust tjree pieces of chicken for four guests pathetic.

The stay was good, the owner family are very nice and welcoming the customer. You will take boat at port to reach for the boathouse. Very special experience. Overstay is quote good, the view is also amazing. The only thing is that there is no hairdryer and hot water is available in the limited timing (maybe only summer. And since it’s a boathouse you may heard the movement from next door easily. But the overall experience is quite unique and good. We had tea time with owner family. It will be difficult to get food outside, but host can prepare dinner and breakfast with extra charge. The food is also quite good. The shopper will also come in boathouse to sell the staff, special shopping experience. From sunset to night, the view beside the lake is also awesome. Overall it’s a good experience.

Well maintained houseboat, the caretaker was very courteous. Nigeen lake is better and not crowded like dal lake

I had a horrible stay. Srinagar is coldest in winters with minus degree temperature. I was given a room with no heater. I was on call with makemytrip customer care for 1. 5 hrs but no use. I was freezing all night. I will not recommend this houseboat to anyone. I want partial refund for my suffering
