familyIt is a beautiful property with a great view away from the crowded dal lake. Room: the rooms here are spacious with comfortable beds and has good ventilation. Every room at this property has exquisite walnut wood carvings. The view: every deck looks out to the nigeen lake and greenery with the mountains in the distance. Food: breakfast has quite a few options. Lunch and dinner here has basic north indian items to cater to the diverse travelers. But you can always request for local cuisine well in advance and the chef would be happy to oblige. The staff- they are the most hospitable lot one could ever find. Always ready to help you with any requirement you have starting from a snack craving to arranging of transport. Not to miss this property has a beautiful garden behind the houseboat with apple and walnut trees.

Good clean place to stay with family on nigeen river

Booked this offbeat place said that this lake is free of the usual tourist crowd of nigeen lake. Actually for a nights stay it doesn’t actually matter where you book either lakes are very scenic. This particular boat had beautiful walnut decors and handcrafted woodwork all over the place. Only disappointment is firewood heaters weren’t turned on as promised to us. We were too tired to ask them so brazed through the cold night. Food was the normal poha, toasted bread butter jam, omelette.

groupI had been houseboat before but experience was not that good and was sceptical about staying in a houseboat but a friend suggested this boat and it was an amazing experience. The staff was too good, welcoming and helpful. They were at our call at any moment and most important we were just two female and did not fear for our security once all thanks to the staff.
