I stayed here for two nights with my family and encountered several issues. In one of our rooms, the heater wasn't working, and there were many mosquitoes. When we complained to the staff, they seemed to blame us and suggested we just deal with the cold if we wanted a heater. Additionally, the food options on the houseboat were limited, and they made us feel uncomfortable when we brought in food from outside. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and the experience.

We called for location and he said to have lunch before coming. We got the lunch packed and when asked for latest, he said a penalty will be applied as no outside food is allowed. If there was no cook available, then they shouldn't have taken the bookings. As soon as we entered, at the entry he started argument on shikara. Very bad experience. No backup, light was gone for almost 2-4 hrs. You have to come back before 9 pm to the house boat stay so we definitely didn't liked it as the weather was nice in the later night instead in the afternoon. No dinner was available. View was also ok.

The houseboat was good food was excellent people was good and good behaviour pickup and drop was excellent only mosquitoes problem to be sort out

Wonderful. Awesome. Everything is fine whatever stay in houseboat, food and so many views. Nice to stay in here. It’s an absolutely brilliant.

One of the worst boat house, in the name of the boat house the boat is just in the interiors with no view at all, also the the hospitality is worse. No response at all even for a glass of hot water. They will make you wait at unloading point for more than 1 hour to ultimately take you to boat house. Mosquitoes are everywhere. Also no electricity at all. So very difficult to charge your devices. Its like. If u are able to reach the boat house then you are trapped there. . Please don't ever waste your money on this. . No toiletries provided. Dirty sheets and carpet also the bed is inclined so lot of discomfort while sleeping. In all. . We felt so good to be out of there. It's like jail

Feel like the houseboat was tilted. The location was really bad next to some water forest. For every other service there is charge like water bottle. Drop to houseboat for checking checkout drop.

Shikara boat rider was very polite and humble. He took us to the house boat with all our baggages. I do not recommend golden crest house boat to anyone. Owner & staff at golden crest house boat behaved very rude with me and even with my mother.

We booked this houseboat through mmt after checking all details provided on portal. 2 delux room and 1 executive room was booked but at check-in we come to know that rooms are at seoerate hoseboats. This was really shocking to know that we booked 03 rooms together but have to stay at separate houseboat. We asked the attendent to allot rooms at same houseboat but he was replying that it was our fault to book separate rooms. There was no any information that separate room type are on separate houseboats. Finally he offered 02 executive rooms together on same houseboat and we don't have any option except that in that situation.

Worst experience, they are too inhuman to expect anything from them. Even the flight got cancel-led due to weather still they didn't refund anything and straight said "no" when someone doesn't use the service how can you charge for that

Very nice. The room was clean and full of hygiene and food was really awesome in this room heating and hot water facility available all facilities worth in under 4000 per night. But one thing felt bad the caretaker who was here, morning i was demanding tip which was not good

I personally advise that don't book this houseboat for your trip. It's very bad experience of mine. No facility, no food, no welcome, no heater ye log thodi der hi heater ch-late h fir raat bhr bnd kr dete h. Puri night thand lg-ti h. No water in bathroom. No warm water available staff is not helpful, not cooperative they charge extra also for your pickup and dropping. Don't expoile your trip by including this houseboat as your stay

Nice place to stay and rooms are clean specially washrooms food are ok service is good, location is good close to the ghat so no need to take a long shikara ride to reach. Staff are friendly, beds are little smaller for a 6 feet man but its manageable,

It was lovely experience with golden crest. Interiors was very beautiful, especially in room u’ll feel cozy all d time… maintain d same……definitely going to see u in future

Staying good and pick & drop also very good breakfast lunch and dinner food are to costly.

When we reached property it was facing power issue that was a little set back but by evening things turn out beautifully and peaceful the host was kind and helpful

Manager was not aware of our inclusions like breakfast. So he did not prepared it. Charged 600 per room for ac. It was no where mentioned by makemytrip that ac would be charged extra. Manager did not give remote even after charging extra for ac, he said set temperature as per your choice and give me back the remote, without remote night was terrible. Manager was busy in some personal function, so not attending ours concerns. Shikara guy was smoking in front of kids. Overall not happy with the stay.

Not a good stay. Water was dirty for bath. Pickup and drop for houseboat were not free. Have to confirm with them to make it free.

Very poor room, facelity is zero, non comfertable, union voice out side, interior very bad, old, food low qyality
