When approached house boat, one room was offered on boat & another room on land. Even prior intimation was not given. Owner must have given house boat room to another person on higher rates. Also location is very deep in dal lake & no scenic view from boat. When we tried to complain mm t then boat owner arranged stay in another boat which was not good with facilities. So overall experience with boat having family with was not good

Rooms were clean but the behaviour of Balmoral Caste owner is not good not providing proper amenities and blower facilities during my stay at Boat ⛵

When we booked that time the photos was shared was too good, good view and good location. But in reality the house boat was back side of lake. No view. And service also not good.

Hood stay with a welcoming host family. The only small negative was the area was a bit noisy due to festivities. Our thanks to our kind host.

It is not in the front line and is infested by water insects. The owner was decent.

Very old boat and stinking. utterly disappointed with the stay and vacated urgently as children got sick with the hygiene

Good location, very good homely food, very good environment for family, nice behavior of owner mr. Hilal bhai, and one main thing heating system is very good, we have delivered both electric blanket and heater of big size.

Great place to stay! homely place. Away from hustle bustle, it has a great view with mountains in front. Food makes you feel like you're having the original culture of kashmir. The owner has a car, and he'll be arranging complete your of different places at the minimal cost. You can trust him with the money. He guided us about the real prices of horse and dry fruits and we saved a lot. He charged very less for the pickup and drop facility as well as for sightseeing to pahalgam, gulmarg, sonmarg. The room has heater and electric blanket. Geyser is also installed. Wifi is available, but there is 2g in kashmir, take your postpaid if possible. Everything was great. Booked this property in last moment, located in a peaceful place of dal Lake, boat available to go and come from ghat, rooms were clean, safe, location was really peaceful. Food was little costly, Chicken and rice with 2/3 pieces chicken egg and rice costly, Shikara ride available for the full trip, which was costly as well but although little costly loved the peacefulness and location.
