Review Of Hotel North Star Near Mall Road

Our experience was quite good. The price was very reasonable, and the service, staff and manager all were very polite. All the amenities mentioned were provided, washroom, bedsheets all were clean. Although there was no kettle in the room but it was no issue as they provided hot water for drinking whenever we asked. Just for information, the room service was till 8 pm only, after that they won't accept orders, but it was also no issue as we ordered by 7:45, and said to bring dinner at 8:30 and they were ok with that. Food taste was good, especially tea was very nice.

Location is good. Value for money. Near to Mall Stay was mostly good. Room was little bit small and we had to go 4 stories up by stairs as there was no lift. Otherwise good. The complimentary breakfast was good. No parking was available

nice hotel. location is 10 minutes walking distance from darjeeling mall road. staffs behavior is very cooperative. hill view room is very good. negetive point is that there is no lift, difficult for senior citizen and no electric kettle &tea facility in room. overall experience is good. recommended for one or two night stay.

It was really good stay with well behaved staffs, clean rooms & with a nice view of Mt Kanchenjunga from the window. Recommended.

The hotel is in primary location near to mall road,a good choice for tight budget people, parking is the only problem but overall it's good

- The stay was comfortable - Property location is a little conjusted in the peak hours as it is difficult for vehicles to pick and drop - Food was good - We have had Poori Bhaji, Roti, Daal, Rice, Sandwich, Paratha... - In our 4 day stay, once there was a powercut in the early morning time, due to which there was no hot water. This became an inconvenience as the weather was too cold(April month). - The only concern I had is that they allow smoking in the rooms. For non-smoking and non-tolerant people, this may pose a concern.
