This is not my first experience, the year 1995, 1996, 1997 I visited several time and dine in the Restaurant. best food in Darjeeling then still today. But this is my first stay in rooms, remarkable stay, best comfort, mannered staff, room aminities, best view. Now I have some suggestion to upgrade, to give best experience to the customers, feel like home. 1. Should install Air dryer compulsory in the each Bathroom. 2. As per reputation of the Hotel should provide Toilette kit standard not like sachet sunsilk, and Medimix 2 rupees soap. Where boarder is paying around Rs. 3000 for a stay he must get standard Toilette a range 20 to 30 rupees. 3. Food menu should be more significant I mean should be clearly mention the portion or pieces, so boarder can easily make the order as per there requirement, no to ask everytime to the room service. ABOVE ALL HOTEL EXPERIENCE AWESOME. Being as a Hotelier I feel that so I give the suggestions. 🙏🙏🙏

Location is great even though cars might find it difficult to drop you at the doorstep. All the great tourist spots and markets are in walking distance. The restaurant is famous for its food and we know why. The food is delicious and all cuisines, including local specialties are available. The staff was kind, friendly and courteous. Room service was prompt and hassle-free.

the hotel is well known and a old building.. the behaviour of staffs are very helpful... all the amenities promised is maintained except providing towel... the only con I observed is presence of insects though it was dealt promptly by reception desk.... also it was a short but steep walk to mall road from this hotel

The rooms at the top where we stayed (505), had a nice city view and a side mountain view. I would suggest get Room 501 or 505 which has a front mountain view. The restaurant is separate, the food prices are cheap and really well made dishes. The attendants were kind and very helpful. The hotel is situated on a parallel road towards the Mall road. There are short cut stairs to there, and even to the Glenary's. Highly recommend stay.

Hotel Seven Seventeen in Darjeeling is a good hotel, food was very good. Hotel staffs are polite. Regarding cleanliness, hotel staff cleaned the room whenever asked for. It is near to Mall road so going to Mall also easy from this hotel. Overall it is a good hotel to stay at Darjeeling.

Room was spacious with 3 beds but not maintained properly, the air in the room was stale, it could have been easily avoided with some air freshener kept in the room. sofa covers were dirty, towels not very clean. The room service was good and prompt. Food was tasty.

it was an amazing property very warm staff plus the rooms were also well maintained and cleaned...room service was given regularly plus the food was also too good taste as well quality of it . very close to mall road just a 5min walk from the hotel...plus close to many other sight seeing places as well like the zoo, ropeway etc .. eateries like kunga, devekas, keventers , glenary etc are very close

My stay at Seven Seventeen Hotel was very disappointing. The staff were uncooperative and evenmy name, which was extremely unprofessional. Continuous repairing sounds throughout the stay gave me headaches, yet despite several complaints, no effort was made to change my room or resolve the issue. The only positive was that the room—especially on the 4th floor—was well decorated. Overall, I did not feel comfortable during my stay and wouldn’t recommend it.

it was nice staying there ...staffs were also very good and polite....though it was a bit noisy because somebody was shouting and quarraling at night..otherwise it was a good stay

Hotel needs to work on following points: 1. Stinky smell from the room due to wooden structure in room. 2. cleanliness of the bathroom 3.
