Great Location - Poorly maintained property

The hotel is located at the best place in Darjeeling. You just need to come out of the room to view Mount Kanchenjunga. It is near to chawrasta market. Great food options nearby. However, the rooms needs little maintenance. Walls have moulds. However I would still recommend it for location, staff was courteous.

The food and location were good. The staff was very helpful. However, the room was not good. The bathrooms were very small, and the wooden floors were in a poor, dirty condition. The room had no view and was located in the basement.😞

everything else was good except water pressure in health faucet . they replaced it after me demanding, but problem is that less water pressure in toilet gets very frustrating and reduces quality of stay drastically

1. The location of Muscatel Nirvana is on Mall road at Kanchanjanga observatory : 10/10 2. I stayed in Deluxe Double room with Kanchanjanga view. Room size perfect for 2 persons. The room need little maintenance. 9/10 3. Staffs are very cordial and well behaved 10/10 4. Food taste was ok, but common hotel food which I personally prefer. I suggest the hotel management should include a Nepali and Tibetan section in menu. They are excellent and we should honor, respect and promote local cuisine: 5/10 5. The wifi connectivity was horrible in the hotel. Also there was a major electricity crisis. The hotel should have more powerfull buttery and invertor back up : 3/10

It was horrible, me and my husband are senior citizens and were informed about this , however when we reached after full day journey too tired they took us four floors down basement, i was not understanding what is this happening and when I asked the staff girl who went with us I can’t climb up and down four basement floor stairs she at us and said we can’t help you leave it if you don’t like Also this room was attached to kitchen and common toilet, room have no windows too suffocate, no tissue paper soap or iron nothing , As we were too tired sat in that room for few hours and left around 4 pm as were not able too sleep

We stayed here for 3 nights .The best part of this property is the KanchanJungha view rooms and balconies.Staff is courteous and warm.Property is clean,well maintained and absolutely silent and calm.This property is very close to Mahakal mandir,Chowrasta Mall and all the great viewpoints of Darjeeling.Me and my family had an amazing 4 days here ,that will be forever etched in our hearts.I definitely wish to stay here again.

The room size is not worth the prices and there was one manager name - Sandeep Ray, he was Damn rude. Due to sudden weather change and rains the room got too cold and there was no heater in the room. Suffered from cold a lot and on asking Sandeep told this is not 5 star hotel that we will provide heater.
