Mountaineers Hotel

it's so difficult to stay in mountaineers hotel.

The properties location is okay. But it is not directly on the road side. One has to climb down many stairs from the main road to actually reach the property which is difficult for elderly persons. The plus point is that it is nearby the mall road and takes only 5 to 10 min to walk from the property to the mall. The rooms quality was not that great. Foul smell was coming from the rooms. Also the bathroom size was too small and difficult for even 1 person to bath and there were insects as well inside the room. The only plus point is that we can have a mountain view from the balcony of the room.

It was average due to some reason. Ok

Rooms are very much congested and suffocating. It is around 20 steps below from road. No privacy as you can easily listen conversation from beside room. Not good for family. Drunk travellers were roaming upto midnight 2 am. You will get many hotels on that location offline. To reach the hotel don't take rockville road, take the road through mall. I strongly don't recommend this hotel.

Worst service of this hotel , bathrooms flush is not working, geyser is not working. We are using mug for flushing out the potty, staffs are so lazy and slow. I asked for extra bed as we were 3 people in each room but no one set the bed . We are any how managed to set extra bed with our own bed sheets… All the time faced water shortage issue….. already told all the issues to hotel staffs but they are very new staffs and joined here 10 days ago only so they can’t do anything….. Worst service ever . Bed was so dirty . No cleaning.. nothing.. rooms are so smelly.

The condition of room was not good. The washroom also didn't had proper water supply. The sockets were also not working and there were insects inside the rooms.

Good experience and. Good room. All about good journey. And the. View from the hotel is. Nice.

Horrible stay. No communication to hotel door steps. We need to walk around 4 km to reach the hotel's actual location. In hotel more than 40 to 50 stair we need to walk to check in room. Hotel owner behavior is very bad. Washroom is very small i believe train toilet is much bigger than this hotel. Beds quality are very poor. Don't book this hotel

The hotel is about 5-minute walk from Mall Road. To reach the hotel, we had to go down the steep stairs from the main road. Food and drinking water are not always available. We could not use water in the bathroom from 10pm to 8am. The room was not that clean.The bed size was also small as a double bed. The blanket was also torn. But only positive thing was the mountain view from the balcony. That was really beautiful.

Rooms are okay okay if you just want to save your money then go ahead otherwise go for a better hotel

Wifi and food facilities are not well. Both are average. But staying is good and natural view is good.

Not very concerned about the guests. Ok ok type. Location is quite interior from mall. Road to the hotel is in bad condition.

Very nice and comfortable stay at mountaineers hotel. Very helpful staff and the owner is a very good person. Beautiful balcony view.

Cozy hotel. Rooms are average. But the location is good. Its less than 2 mins walk from darjeeling mall. Hotel service is excellent. Manager is a very down to earth person and always ready to help. Food and snacks are always available. Wifi is also good. Satisfied with my stay.

Address wrong and very far from the said address. It was chauk bazar and the address was t n road. Unhygienic place and too expensive for the place

The room was very small. Not supplied drinking water and water supply from washroom was very bad. Never come to this hotel.
