Dekeling hotel

Hotel Dekeling is a hotel located very close to Mall Road in Darjeeling city. The best hotel in terms of location. But the only problem with this hotel is that there is no lift. The hotel starts from the 3rd floor. There is another hotel and a restaurant below this hotel. So this hotel starts from the 3rd floor. You have to climb a lot of wooden stairs to reach the hotel room. It is very inconvenient for the elderly. You will not want to go up and down again.

No heater there load shedding no soap changed no facewash

Location, food,amenities & services are good. But A8 Room is on the top floor which will be tough to reach by aged people.

Good stay, There no food services after 6:00 PM, but service is good. Beautiful view of Darjeeling city specially Mall road, there is walking distance with Mall road and chock bazar.

Staying in the Dekeling hotel has been a great experience for us. The hotel is near the Darjeeling Mall and is also easy to find (and with Kanchenjunga view ofcourse!) . Hotel staffs are really nice. Mr. Bikram, Mr. Dipankar and Mr. Prashant have been incredibly helpful. Thank you for making our experience at Darjeeling a memorable one!

Manager was very rude ! Room was below average! Didn’t provide mineral water! Manager insulted us several times ! Furnitures were dirty! They gave me worst room possible ! Unbearable smell in room

Stay was good at Dekeling hotel but the room which was booked, was on the 6th floor, climbing up stairs was a tedious job but the hotel was good, the mountains view was superb from the lobby. Loved the place.

no lift to take your luggage on the top floor ,gyser not working, very congested rooms not worth the price

room tariff is high as per the quality ,staff good ,food ok , I will not recommend any one neither I want to stay further.

it's a pleasant stay at this hotel. very happy 😊..but exhaust fan is missing in bathroom.othetwise room are clean

The location is excellent. Very close access to Mall Road which has all the restaurants and shopping. The charges are economical. The only problem is one has to climb a few flights of stairs which will be inconvenient for older and physically weaker people. But the view of Kanchanjunga from the Lounge is Superb! So it is worth the Climb!

Hotel's rooms are very clean and owner is very polite man as well as their staff members are very co-operative. Overall my experience is excellent in this hotel.If I will go to darjeeling in future my first preference for stay at dekeling hotel. Thanks to all dekeling team members 😊

Hotel is strategically located near the mall and some of the popular food hubs like kunga, keventers and glenary's. Also taxi stand was just below the hotel which adds convenience for local tours. Well equipped and cozy mountain view rooms. Hotel staffs were very cordial and well behaved. One can also opt for breakfast and lunch options at hotel. However, dinner option is not available. Only disadvantage is one has to climb stairs upto 4 floors. Person who are aged and have fitness problem should look for other options nearby. Overall it was a great stay for us.

Hotel is on third floor, we have to face lot problems. Location is very Hospitality is marvellous.staff is very good

The rooms were nice, but there were no hot water as the geyser was not working most of the time. In a cold winter, hot water is one of the basic amenities which should be provided by the hotel, since i paid more than rs. 3200 for one room per night.

Not maintained properly even room service is poor, kettle hot water not supplied, charged room heaters but not provided. Room cleaning is very very poor.

Because there is no lift to go 5th floor, and roof top floor they have booked, this is very much overpriced, i am too much unhappy with mmt for hotel booking. But your driver mr. Subba is very very nice person and good driver. Thanks.

poor management all over, hardly tried to fulfill our demand regarding bed sheet change.. didn't provide shower gel. the manager did informed us about strike which was declared on 29th sept, now we are standing in queue when will be able to reach airport. we are going to miss flight at 6 pm. a great monetory loss, tension

My room number is 101 there was a big window from the window we can see that he use conjun jaunga in front of me but the sky was to cloud-but the sky was to cloud when i visited the place so there is no kanchenjunga the room is quite small there was no smart tv. Bed was so comfortable. Bathrooms well maintained but geyser is not working on last day. Hotel manager and staff are good.
