no cantin, staff behavior was not good, compare to room and service price was too high. also room location not good

Good place to stay but don't book car from here. They keep 1000 Rs. as a cut to book cab driver. If anyone want to book cab then you can book cab from mall road.

Location is ok, but they close the gate at night. You can’t get out in early morning.

Food is very bad specially meal, Property -In Room no window available there,Hot water operate from reception, Washroom hve no any exhaust fan,no any window just a dam room, Linens not change till 4days.Very bad expenses.Location is very hill high, Service and staff behaviour is very good appreciate.

The location of the hotel was very good The staff's behaviour was also good. But the main problem of the hotel is there are no lifts. the owner arranged a taxi to receive us from NJP, which was so reliable.

To reach the hotel you have to go 100+steps or may be more, with the Lugages from the Vechiles stand. Proper food not avialble at Hotel. Hot water avialbility is a issue as we don't know if there is a issue at Gizer or any other issue. Entirely closed room, no scope of ventilation. Make my trip/hotel charged which is totally not value for money. Information avialble and photo avialble at the link don't match.

Very good and a homely feeling. Manager was very warm and cooperative. Got very nice suggestions about places to visit in darjeeling and vehicle arrangements.

Below Average hotel for such high price.No Kettle provided in room which is a must have in these cold conditions.Toilet fully damaged. Had to use bucket for flushing. Towel and drinking water not provided by default. We had to request for it only then we received it. Reception was hardly available at the desk. The service boys were helpful. They provided hot water on request.

Very clean hotel at this price except the entrance, all are very good. We booked at the last moment and so got this hotel. Not at all disappointed. Very quick service

I had a good time with this property. The owner was really good and so was their staff behaviour. The room was of decent size and the view was good from the window. They also have a terrace where you can enjoy the scene.

Property is situated in very high place where there is difficult reach. Service is good.Room condition needs improvement.

1) contact number provided for hotel sandrup darjeeling never picks up call 2) it is extremely difficult to find hotel location, a kind local person guided us, otherwise we would never find it 3) from day 1 the hotel service boy from reception was not eager to entertain even a small request like providing us separate room (the one shown by him was damp, providing us extra glass (we were 3 persons, he gave only 2 glasses, etc. 4) he was very invasive around us, always asking us if we are spending much water, if geyser is on, if we are running heater (which we adjusted against our breakfast verbally, charged 500 rupees per day) during the day, etc. 5) due to the bad experience, we planned to check out earlier than 11am 6) day before check out we informed him about our plan to check out early at around 6am, the next day 7) that day at around 10:44 pm he called us to clear dues, we invited him to our room on good faith to clear dues and paid him 350 rupees cash inside our room (90 rupees for 3 cup tea on day 1, 150 rupees for 3 days heater balance charge after adjusting against breakfast and rest as tip as demanded by him) 8) after 15-20 minutes that night he came back and demanded balance dues again from us, then we suspected that he was drunk, we took video of the conversation, he refused that he took 350 rupees a while back. 9) we asked him the purpose of visiting a while back to our room, he answered that he came to give us water, we demanded to show us in cctv that he came with water to our room and went with him to the reception. He told that he can't play past recording and repeatedly insisting that we are lying, we took recording of that conversation too. We refused to talk to him further as it was late and may disturb other guests and asked him to talk to us in the morning 10)he again came back to our room 3rd time in drunk condition, to apologise for his behaviour but refused that he took cash, we didn't entertain him further, we took video of that conversation also 11) in the morning around 6:30 am he was not available in the reception, main entrance was locked, his mobile number was switched off as we was checking out. We knocked his room beside reception, he came out in sleepy condition, again refused that he took cash last day. Then we reminded him that we will complain about his personal behaviour and may take legal action against his hotel too. 12) at that moment, he agreed that we don't have any dues, we took video recording of that conversation too, then he opened the main entrance. Please note, during our stay in 2nd day we went for tiger hill, around 3:30am in the morning and main entrance was open. Therefore, i find the experience in hotel sandrup darjeeling extremely bad, i don't want any of my closed ones to face what we experienced in future, and demand to blacklist hotel sandrup darjeeling
