Our stay at Himalayan Hues in Gangtok was absolutely wonderful! The property offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the hills. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What made the experience truly special was the warm and gracious hospitality of the host always welcoming, helpful, and attentive to every small detail. We really felt at home throughout our stay. We stayed at Himalayan Hues in Gangtok for two nights. Located near SAP camp, it’s peaceful yet close to MG Marg. The owner, Piyush, is always helpful and guided us with our itinerary. The caretaker, Passang, made our stay memorable by assisting with cabs and cooking amazing food, especially Tibetan momos and dry aloo dum. Though we couldn’t see Kanchenjunga due to fog, the weather was great. The place felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gangtok and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfect for a short or long stay. I’ll definitely come back, this time for a long stay!

A very pleasant and full-filling stay for us a group of 04 families. We were 13 in total with 05 kids and all of them enjoyed Himalayan Hues. The property is located at a place which provides the best views of the greater Himalayan ranges. It has a very polite host Mr Bhutiya and his staff are all very well trained and take very good care of guests. They provide best home style food you can expect while on a long trip to Gangtok. I will surely keep this as my first choice of stay during our next visit. A very well planned and designed homestay.

we had an amazing stay at himalayan hues in sikkim! even though we visited during the monsoon and the skies were often cloudy, we still got some magical views of the mighty kanchenjunga peaks right from our room. the way the clouds moved in and out, revealing the snow-covered peaks for brief, breathtaking moments—it was something else. the rooms were seriously impressive—actually even better than the photos we saw online. super clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with big windows that perfectly framed the views. we could’ve just sat there all day watching the mountains. and the infinity dining area was a whole other vibe—having a meal with that kind of view was unforgettable. a big thanks to the owner, and his son-in-law. both were incredibly warm and welcoming, always around with a smile and ready to help with anything. you can really tell they care about their guests and go the extra mile to make the stay special. highly recommend himalayan hues if you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with genuine hospitality and some of the best views in sikkim!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and excellent service. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of *Kanchenjunga right from our room* ! Waking up to the sight of the snow-capped peaks was a magical experience. The room itself was well-maintained, cozy, and equipped with all necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The host (uncle & Aunty) was extremely courteous and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel’s ambiance had a perfect blend of modern comfort and a touch of local charm, making it an ideal place to unwind after exploring the beauty of Gangtok. The food at the in-house was delicious, offering a good mix of local and continental options. Every meal felt fresh and well-prepared, it was more like Homemade meals after a long trip. The food was 100x tasty as compared to Brand hotels. Overall, Himalayan Hues provided us with a memorable and relaxing stay. The place is fresh and vibrant, as it looks in the pictures. The stunning Kanchanjunga view adds to the serenity of the stay. The rooms are neat and clean On cold evenings all one needs is warm food, a bonfire and cozy room. We got it all in this place. A special mention and thanks for Ms Passang. The food we were served, from the snacks to home cooked local thali to breakfast, was simply amazing. We will come back and so should you , highly recommended !
