Review Of Goona Palace Group of Houseboats

Ordering food here is a mistake, too overpriced also we payed for 2 rooms which I felt was was very expensive for this price could have booked some amazing luxury stays. it’s just an experience don’t expect much rooms are clean, cosy host and helps are really helpful and good.

This property is situated near ghat number 12 from this property the view was awesome

I stayed there for 1 night, location is good. Service is good but they do not have arrangements Of food.

Goona Palace house boat is nice place for stay Service is good only food is to much costly well behaved staff and the location is supub Safe and secure atmosphere, all facility all available perfect arrangement for cold and hot water supply is also good.

Rooms are nicely maintained and all facilities are available, homely atmosphere. Manager was good but food was really too much costly. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience.

A good house boat with a place atmosphere had all the facilities inside it's not a moving house boat it's a stand still house boat with a great view of Dale lake had a great time in a place like house boat.

Houseboat Goona Palase is located at an ideal spot and gives perhaps the most beautiful view of the Dal lake. The owner along with the management is very warm and hospitable and offered is a good deal in spite of no having booked in advance. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The inhouse cooked us a meal which was very close to home cooked food. Overall, had a delightful stay here. Will definitely come back.

1. Dinner rate was very high. 2. One shd book with meals included. 3. Staff behaviour was good but he did not had all resources to help us. 4. But they were honest in their efforts to service us. So overall due to owner and staff good behaviour, one can consider this.

I stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Rooms were nice and support staff were amazing they were always ready to help whether it was a late night pickup from the main road or early morning call for tea. During our stay in Srinagar they enquired about our plans for the day and ensured that they provide a feedback or suggestion to improve our itinerary. The room were very clean and well maintained.

We had booked 2 super deluxe rooms for one night at Goona Palace H/B and we enjoyed our first experience of night stay at a house boat. There were some problems like power cut due to bad weather condition but the Owner and the caretaker of the H/B ensured alternative power supply and managed water supply in a way that sufficed our need. Overall a good experience.

Hotel is so Beautiful.. Inside Dal Lake.. Next time i will also stay there.. The Hotel staff is very nice and co-operative.. The service of hotel staff also very nice and very friendly.. Its my Honeymoon trip and me totally satisfied with Goona Palace.. Awesome Place.

Hotel is so, not very good. No net system services are very poor. Breakfast is a very bad. But sikara service is very good. Shikara persons behave in a very good manner But in shikara tour so many goods seller come to shikara for selling their goods all are duplicate.

I had a perfect weekend at Goona Palace. Owner joined me for a three hour boat tour on the lake. Also suggested a trip to the gardens around the lake to finish of a perfect weekend. Will go there again.

Mr Lateef Goona and Sameer caretaker were both extremely helpful and their hospitality was more than anticipated. Special vote of thanks for Sameer and his friendly advices which made the overall Srinagar travel and stay very comfortable and enjoyable without any hassles.

Neat and clean houseboat. Good for a night stay. Complimentary shikara ride provided. To and fro ride by shikara provided free of cost to the chat when needed. Good hospitality. Small rooms but neat and clean. No wardrobes in the standard rooms. Only one option in breakfast but plenty enough to fill your tummy. Overall, good for a night stay in budget.

It was a nice place to stay and enjoy shikara ride. In amidst the lake it was quite nice to wake up on a floating bed. The view was nice and shikara ride made it a value for money. Overall a nice stay.

As its location is o Dal lake its easily reachable .. However few things to note ... They have two houseboats and they will give you a room in thr poor houseboat and not on the houseboat of which photos are loaded ... Power problem was there throughout the night ... Cleanliness was missing. Hot water was not there in the morning there is no view from the room ... There was only one fellow who was trying all. Out to serve us .. Poor choice by us ..

The houseboat was nice and the staff was also cooperative and the place was also nine and enjoyed much. The hotel also has 24 hour hot water facility. The breakfast they served was much tatsty. The washroom was also clean and everything was neat and clean.
