This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had while booking a so-called “4-star” property. I had booked a total of 6 days for my recent Delhi trip, and from the very beginning, the stay was nothing short of disappointing.
Firstly, the property itself looks nothing like the images shown on the app. The surroundings and actual condition of the hotel are completely different, and it gives a very poor first impression.
Secondly, upon arrival, I was made to wait an unnecessarily long time before getting my room keys. After a tiring journey, this was extremely frustrating.
Thirdly, I had specifically been assured of a non-smoking room, but to my shock, the room was full of cigarette butts and matchsticks lying around. The entire room smelled of smoke, and the condition of the room was unhygienic. The bed sheets and blankets had visible stains, which was absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a 4-star rated property.
Fourthly, I had booked my stay with complimentary breakfast and either lunch/dinner included. However, the moment I checked in, I was denied breakfast, and during lunch I was shocked to find there was no buffet system at all. Instead, I was told to pick from just four items on a fixed menu – something I have never experienced in any genuine 4-star hotel.
Overall, my 6-day stay turned into a completely pathetic experience. The property fails on location, cleanliness, service, and food quality. I strongly request the MMT team to look into this matter seriously – either by re-evaluating this property
