When we gave feedback to the staff, the response was, "Sir, good food is only found at home... this is how it is in the hills." While his point might be valid to some extent, the overall food experience was poor. Initially, the hotel room had several issues — the air conditioner and the door lock were not working, and there was no television. Eventually, we were shifted to a different room. There was only one staff member managing everything, and he seemed extremely frustrated. He frequently complained about his low salary and the heavy workload, which impacted the service quality. Lastly, the property is not suitable for families. It appeared to cater mainly to large groups of local boys from Haryana/Delhi. The swimming pool was monopolized by such groups, making even us (a group of males) feel uncomfortable at times. To avoid any unnecessary conflict, we chose to leave the pool.
