I randomly came across the place and the building was familiar to me from previous travels to kochi. But, i didn't know it was open to the public. The auto driver who dropped me there was oblivious to it too as he was surprised to know we would get rooms there. As i was traveling alone, i booked a dorm bed and went there on the eve of easter. And guess what? i ended up staying in that huge bungalow all alone. The guard venue chetan was there for every help. The dorm had two neat bathrooms. Venue chetan told me that usually, movie shooting crews book the bungalow as a whole for longer stays and they just opened it for the public and planning to market the place professionally. The place is affordable, tidy, and neat as you would expect from a church establishment. And it is right there in the heart of fort kochi where the beach is just a five-minute walk away. The building and the compound itself are very photogenic and very peaceful. Everything is well kept and staying there all alone for two nights was one of the trippiest and happiest experiences i had.
