Had a booking at the hotel, with the check-in time scheduled for 12 PM. I arrived at 2 PM, which was well past the check-in time, yet the hotel staff only started cleaning the room after my arrival. We had to wait another 45 minutes. Later, they informed us that the room was ready and asked us to go upstairs, but we still had to wait another 10 minutes outside the room as they were mopping and cleaning.
We finally got our room around 3:10 PM, and upon entering, it had a strong, unpleasant mix of mop and floor fragrance smells.
The next morning, at exactly 9:30 AM, we received a call reminding us about the checkout time. When we went to the reception to hand over the keys, the receptionist rudely asked us to wait again. After all this hassle, we had to wait another 10 minutes before we could leave the hotel premises.
It was a really bad experience overall. The receptionist clearly did not know how to treat guests
Truly a pathetic experience.
