Annlin Surprise near Cochin Airport

My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. While the room and overall building were clean and the hot/cold water worked well, there were several issues that affected our comfort. The bedroom was extremely small with hardly any space to move around—suitable perhaps only for solo travelers. The bathroom had a faulty pipe, and when we brought it up with the staff, the response was dismissive, suggesting it could be fixed the next morning. There was no air vent or proper ventilation in the room, which led to high humidity levels. The TV was not working, and on closer inspection, we noticed the wires were intentionally cut—an unnecessarily restrictive move. Privacy was a major concern. The window glass was transparent and the curtain too thin, making it easy for anyone walking by to see inside if the lights were on. Another disappointing issue was the Wi-Fi. Although there was a strong signal visible on our phones, the staff claimed that a road accident had taken it down—this seemed like a deliberate excuse to deny access. On the positive side, the room came with a comfortable blanket, good turkey, and the place was generally clean and well-maintained. The hotel also provides parking facilities and has CCTV surveillance for added security, which is appreciated. Overall, this hotel needs improvement in basic amenities, privacy, and honest communication with guests in order to offer a truly comfortable stay.

I booked the ac room and the ac is beeping all night so my sleep disturbed i won’t recommend this stay ever

In annlin surprise, cochin hotel me and my family's experience was bad because there was no one to provide any service. The owner himself opened the door of rooms, given water bottle, towel and soap. But in the rooms, the bedsheets were dirty and damaged. Rooms are small. Dth was not recharged. Telephones and wifi were not working. No arrangement for tea/ coffee any meal. Food court was closed from months. The facilities claimed online by hotel are all false and wrong. The hotel is just to take some rest for few hours for those who have to catch flight or train. However its location near to airport is good. The owner is humble and soft spoken but don't bother for troubles being faced by customers.

Decent stay for the price.

Actually the service was not up to the mark, no room service, no extra water bottles. The hotel location is good and near the airport being an advantage. Food is not available in the hotel annlin surprise, for extra bottle one needs to buy it from shop or supermart.

I must express my disappointment with the hotel room i booked recently. Despite the promising description and photographs, the actual room size was far from satisfactory. It felt cramped and confined, lacking the spaciousness i had anticipated. The limited space made it difficult to move around comfortably and store my belongings. Considering the price i paid for the room, i expected better. The discrepancy between the advertised room size and the reality was disheartening, and it significantly affected my overall experience. I hope that the hotel management addresses this issue to ensure future guests are not similarly misled.

The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful.

Without any second thought one can easily rate this hotel a zero rating, first thing when you interact with the staff at the time of check in you will get an idea that your stay is going to be terrible. Management is very rude, there is no other staff, when you checkin the owner itself will come and handover the key. Thats it. After that if you need anything also then there won't be any staff in the entire property. Rooms were so conjested. Its better to spend your time in railway station or aiport if you have to catch your flights or train rather than staying in this hotel. As per google it has 2. 8 rating, but i wonder how come it still has that rating which doesn't even deserve a single rating.

The receptionist was a good guy. Very small room. Not even a chair was available. The bed sheets were not washed properly. The room was filled with mosquitoes. Even though there were curtains, the room was visible from the corridor. Worst experience ever.
