Olive Down Town

Had a pleasant stay overall. The place is in a handy spot, easy to get around, and the room was comfortable enough for a short break. The TV felt a bit small, and both the mini fridge and the central AC didn’t cool the way they should. I asked the team to take a look, but they said everything was normal, which was a little disappointing. The housekeeping crew kept things tidy and were genuinely helpful. Security was alright, though not the strongest part of the property. On weekends the hotel hosts parties, and the parking area gets crowded. That’s when the security team seems a bit unsure of how to manage the flow. Still, the stay had more positives than negatives, and with a few fixes this place could easily be much better.

It was great. The food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was very soothing. The only minor criticism I have is about the light switches, where many had to be clicked twice or thrice to turn on. The place was very clean and tidy. Overall, it was a great stay.

The hotel's location is superb, with the metro station just walkable distance, making it super convenient to explore the city. Roof top bar also great. The staff at Olive Downtown Hotel are friendly and welcoming. The food at the hotel's restaurant is also great, but variety of menu is less. However, I would like to mention that the room service takes a bit longer than expected. But considering the hotel's amenities and location, it's a small trade-off. Overall, I'd recommend Olive Downtown Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great amenities and a convenient location.

Went for a short 2 day trip to Kochi and stayed at Olive Downtown, Kadavanthra. The property is situated bang on Kadavanthra Junction with all major attractions of Kochi nearby. Fort Kochi, Marine Drive, Ernakulam South Railway Station, Lulu Mall, Kochi Metro etc are easily accessible from here. The hotel has spacious rooms with decent dining options. There is a small swimming pool located on the top floor(10th) with a small gym. The bar is on the 2nd floor with an active DJ attracting young couples on weekends. Though located in a busy junction, the noise doesn't come inside the rooms. The staff is courteous and check in/out is easy. Overall a pleasant stay.

The stay was good. However the staff at Reception is not well mannered..They give less attention to customers rather than their other works at the counter.

Very minimum standards.Restaurant buffet (Breakfast) was just average.Raised a concern about the temperature of the hot food and no staff including supervisior seemed bothered.Nothing in the spread was satisfactory.Will not choose again the property

It is nice centrally located, nicely built hotel but it is a 4 star hotel while listed as 5 star, limited breakfast options but OK. Good value for money
