When we checked in, the room was clearly not serviced properly after the last guest had left. It was disappointing to see that even basic cleanliness was neglected. Throughout our stay, several issues made the experience uncomfortable and unpleasant.
Negative points:
• Found a half-empty bottle of left behind in the room.
• Floors were not cleaned properly.
• Toilets were poorly cleaned and gave off a strong drainage smell throughout all 3 nights.
• The smell was present in both rooms we had booked.
• Spotted a mouse running through the corridor one night – suggests a rodent issue.
• Toiletries were missing in the washroom, and shockingly, used ones from the previous guest were not cleared either.
During my week-long stay in Kochi all in the same price category. .
To sum up, if you are planning to stay here with family, especially kids, I would strongly advise against it. However, if you’re a bachelor just looking for a private room and don’t mind compromising on cleanliness and comfort, this could be a decent choice. The hotel does have two bars, which may appeal to some guests.
