The hotel:
The hotel is an old house that has been converted into a hotel. Sadly, it is quite poorly maintained and most of the rooms are TINY! There are only three large rooms, and ours was one of them. But it had no windows, it was musty, dusty, and had two small bulbs lighting the entire room. No intercom, room service or geyser/hot water. The WiFi was quite bad, and we hardly had any cellular network inside the room. Our second room was so small, there was no place for anything in the room apart from the double bed and one small table; no TV, no plug points or space to walk around. The only reason we agreed to stay there was the location. It is centrally located. Else, the rooms are overpriced.
The service:
The service was mediocre. They shut the main doors after 10, and getting in after that was a hassle. We had prepaid for the rooms on MMT. The room they gave us was so small (and nothing like the photograph on the website), we asked for a bigger room. We were charged an additional Rs. 2000 and we didn't even get a receipt for it.
Overall:
The only thing I would recommend about this hotel is the location. Everything else was below average, with none of the usual amenities. I did not get what I was promised on MMT. Extremely disappointed with the experience.
