Our stay at BLISS GANGA RISHIKESH hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly advise against booking a room here. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the hospitality standards were far below expectations. The staff lacked professionalism and showed no understanding of how to properly welcome guests.
We had booked two premium rooms for 1 night, expecting a comfortable and pleasant stay. However, upon arrival, we were given the worst rooms available located at the back of the hotel with a terrible ambiance. The condition of the washroom was unacceptable, making our experience even worse. When we requested a room change, the staff claimed that no premium rooms were available. However, shortly afterward, in front of us, they informed a new guest that both premium and executive rooms were available. This was not only frustrating but also showed a clear lack of honesty in their service.
After multiple discussions and persistent requests, the staff finally agreed to give us an executive room but charged us the premium room rate. Even then, the executive room was far from satisfactory—it was in poor condition, making us question whether any of the rooms in this hotel were actually worth staying in.
Additionally, the lack of basic services was shocking. The hotel did not provide any assistance with transferring our luggage, either when we first checked in or when we changed rooms. We had to carry our own luggage despite having paid for a supposedly premium experience. Even at checkout, there was no staff available to assist us, highlighting the poor service standards further.
If you are traveling with family and looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The experience was frustrating and far from what we had expected.
