I visited Lalit Srinagar 12 yrs back.. My experience that time was awesome.. But unfortunately this time I didn't have the same leisure which I thought of..The ambience of the room was not good.. The drawers n doors of washroom were out of order..The shower n taps in bathroom were also not working properly.. Overall the condition of the hotel was not up to the mark..

The stay was truly magical with courteous staff, superb rooms and exceptional amenities. Icing on the cake was the live santoor recital by sahil santoor on the lawns during breakfast. 10 stars!

familyThere in nothing grand in terms of service and quality. No doubt property is huge and heritage. The most rated property in srinagar but my personal experience there was terrible. We stayed here for two nights and the experience was like any random 3-4 star property. Even though the vellet parking was not there and the guy presented there told me to go and park your vehicle by your own at parking lot which were not less then 500 mtrs away. Rooms were big in the size but badly maintained. Foods very average. In terms of hospitality is was a big zero and i would never suggest someone to go there again. My entire time, money and experience got vanished due to bad hospitality and food experience.

Lovely property and extremely helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walkable from dal lake. I would definitely want to visit around summer time.
