Review Of SRINIVAS SAFFRON HOTEL, MANGALORE

The room selected was AC, but I was provided a "table fan" as the AC was dead the whole night! It was Very agonizing night. Did not think I would pay so much to experience such a situation.

Rooms are good clean and hygine but the heater flask was not cleaned properly as it was stinking and at night the room service guy who came was slightly drunk and while he was talking i could smell liquor and when they come inside room they need to keep thier slippers ouside but this guy directly came inside the Suit bedroom with his wet slippers. While he came to clean the flask, he tried to clean the same inside our washroom with bear hands and asked me to smell which was not professional. Additional atleast eggs can be kept free of cost for breakfast on need basis.

Though the hotel is good in looks, the room had not given fresh look. Bedsheets were not fresh and the floor mat near bathroom was not provided. Floor was felt sticky. Doors are also muddy. Great hotel staff. The wifi was not working but the maintenance team went out of the way to help and they sorted it out. Tea was good. The front office staff was very friendly and indeed supportive

Pleasent stay rooms are tidy and comfortable, it's at the heart of the city with all major attractions near by with ample amount of parking space

Pro: Good location, very prompt service, decent and clean room. Breakfast was decent, although predictable. Con: AC too noisy, water dried up due to repairs (alternative rooms were provided, it's was a hassle).

Rooms are spacious and clean. well maintained toilets. The hotel is centrally located in mangalore. This is my third time stay in this hotel.

Location: excellent, city centre, walkable distance restaurants, mall, medical stores, attractions. Food: breakfast was very good, though not much variety. Amenities: brilliant. There's central air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, towels, television, kettle, work desk and chair, terrace and the like. Services: very polite and helpful staff. House keeping and room service is prompt. Overall i enjoyed my stay with no complaints. What could be improved? bath area is small. Better to have hand held showers for ease. Give amenities based on number of guests. We only had one bath towel, whereas it should have been two. Keep a bath bucket in case customers don't prefer shower. My expectation is to have everything in place rather customer requesting upon arrival. Also, tea bags were kept in open. Please offer packed ones. Just small improvements can make a take your service to heights.

Stay was pleasant. Rooms were neat, well maintained. Staffs were very cooperative. Washroom was clean and well maintained. Suggestion for improvement; 1) door mat needs to be provided. 2) rooms could smell better. So a simple spay of freshener could do the trick.

Insects in room, very noisy iam literally hearing everything from next room as well as from roads, no floor towel, wardrobe key s not there. No guidance at all for anything. Waste one, not recommending to anyone

while the staff are good, the room given to us, room no. 311 was very bad, showing that the housekeeping manager was totally ineffective in getting to room ready for guest occupation. i doubt if the hotel has any standards and procedures at all. or the housekeeping manager is irresponsible. i am listing the issues here. 1. water was always leaking from the shower, making us impossible to stand in the bath area without wetting our head. 2. the foot pedal of the trash can provided in the bathroom was not functional, forcing us to open the lid by hand to dispose off any trash. 3. the outside of the trash can was very very dirty, with big marks of pan spit on it. 4. the toilet tissue holder was absent, the marks in it's place indicating that it was removed. 5. the fan of the air conditioner in the room was making loud, terrible and unbearable sound. though someone attended to it, sound reduced for a short time and continued again. we could not sleep both nights of our stay due to this. overall, it was terrible stay.. hope you will take this up with the hotel and make stay in this hotel comfortable for guests who visit in future. thanks.. uploading images

Good stay and good food. I was content with a few items i ordered through room service was good plus complimentary breakfast veg buffet was also good. My preference is more not h indian veg food thar matched my expectations

The stay was very comfortable. Located at the main location. All the visiting places are near by. Food and breakfast was satisfactory.

Rooms were smelling with smoking smell. I used to stay every time. But this time it is not same as last time. I felt rooms are allocated based on how much money you pay.

The service makes the guest feel degraded beyond tolerance. The owners have instructed the staff to act in strange miserly ways which don't closely fit the 4.5k per night they charged from me. The location though is very convenient as it's literally around the centre of the city. I think this property might need a complete takeover from the current owners.
