They upgraded our deluxe room to a suite and the stay was too good and hassle free. Only there were few cleanliness isues.

Pathetic approach of front office person made our stay bitter

Location is excellent, Breakfast was good, Cleanliness was good, Staff, except the front front office guy by the name Basanth were also good!! We, a family of three checked in around 8 pm and our request for an hour late check out (instead of 11 am to 12 noon) was instantaneously rejected by him with arrogance. However the lady who was there next day very politely agreed late check out. Request for additional bath towels, one for each of us was also questioned by him and given two only, making our repeated stay in this hotel horrible!!!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. But there is no restaurant in the hotel even though they offer room service. The food is bought from somewhere and in plastic containers. Water bottles were provided but the staff was rude when asked for more.

The location is very apt, near the railway station, good restaurant nearby, at the centre of the city. Rooms are very spacious, pleasant, clean and tidy. The entire staff right from security, reception, house keeping and everyone is very polite, disciplined, professional and abiding. They have a big restaurant and a variety of options for breakfast. Not to miss the taste of the food. I'm a business traveller, I visit Mangalore every month for the last 5years, I have tried many hotels in Hampankatta and nearby locations. I would highly highly recommend this property for any type of travel. If you are a fitness enthusiast, then this hotel is a bonus for you as it has a fully functional and well maintained gym.

We stayed at Royal Plaza Suites by RAK Rooms for one night during our road trip and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is relatively new and offers ample parking space, which was convenient. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We had requested a room upgrade, and it was graciously approved with a smile- great service! Our room was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a restful night. While the property doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, they offer the option to order from a partner restaurant located right next door. Additionally, being situated in a market area, there are plenty of local food joints and dining options within walking distance. If you’re planning a short stay of 1–2 days in Mangaluru, Royal Plaza Suites is a solid choice worth considering.
