Gateway Bekal

Gateway bekal is an amazing property, we had an awesome stay. We planned this trip to celebrate our daughter's birthday and Gateway bekal made it the best birthday for her. Diviya at the front desk helped us for a room upgrade with minimal additional cost and she kept checking on us throught our stay. She made sure that the room is decorated for birthday surprise and also provided an additional cake for our sunset raft ride. Executive lake view cottage rooms are so good, luxurious comes with jacuzzi.Best part is the view from the room to a vast lawn and the biodiverse lake. A lot of different birds can be spotted in the property. Ashok from the team explained us all the available activities and we decided for a sunset raft ride on our daughter's birthday. He also helped us with all our queries that helped us visit private beach via Taj bekal where we had the best time. The raft ride was so surreal! Amalraj took us on the raft ride, we spent almost 1:30 hrs on the raft, enjoyed the music sunset, wavy lake , the breeze, it was just awesome, the memories will be etched in our hearts forever. He also helped us with capturing most beautiful pics n videos during cake cutting in the raft. Food was amazing, overall food was good but it was best on the Sunday night dinner with set menu, all the dishes were so flavourful n mouthwatering, some must trys the prawns, chicken dry(forgot the dish name), appam with malabar fish curry. Thank you to all the staff who took care of us during our stay from front desk to house keeping, swimming pool and the restaurant staff.

you cant go wrong when it is Taj property. we had amazing stay for three nights. Breakfast spread, service, staff all out of the world. they take care of everything .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The accommodation was comfortable and thoughtfully maintained, offering a serene escape from the bustle of daily life. The range of activities available—both relaxing and adventurous—added a vibrant rhythm to the stay, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking rejuvenation. What truly stood out was the warmth and cordiality of the staff. Their gestures, from welcome drinks to personalized assistance, reflected genuine hospitality and made me feel truly cared for. Every interaction was marked by kindness and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. However, the complimentary breakfast could use some attention. While the effort was evident, the variety and quality didn’t quite match the excellence seen in other areas of the resort. A few tweaks in freshness, options, and presentation would elevate the morning experience significantly.

First of all the location was nice .. surrounded by greenery and back water. Person from reception was good and gave us a free room upgrade .. we stayed in private villa with Jacuzzi.. it was the best part of our stay.. food was nice.. pool was big and well maintained.. resort.activities are good.. overall it was worth holiday for us

We had a wonderful experience at The Gateway Bekal. The hospitality of the front office staff was exceptional—they were courteous and even helped us with an upgrade. The restaurant food was excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The Diwali celebration was beautifully organized, and the hotel amenities were top-notch. Our villa was spacious, well-maintained, and had every comfort we could ask for. The buggy service was prompt, and the staff throughout the property were extremely cooperative and warm. Overall, a truly memorable stay—highly recommended!

The property is wonderful and the staff are extremely nice. Things that can be better . Had to wait for the room to be allotted for 20 minutes on arrival , the drain clogged when went to take shower , shower gel was not stocked , breakfast area too crowded and the balcony railing were rusted and needs paint. Overall good with some areas for improvement

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect to connect to nature, feel inner peace and to relax. My husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary came live the moment we stepped in. We were received with warmth and royal treatment if we've to say in words with brightest smiles. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was decorated for our occasion and had hand written notes wishing us which we truly appreciate. Mr. Soby the Front Office Manger and Mr. Aburaj the Restaurant Manager took care of every detail to make our stay perfect and the celebration a life time memory. The table set up for our dinner was beautiful beyond words can mention. The food was perfectly cooked with so many flavours in each dish. Top notch service by staff Ms. Divya from the reception, Ms. Pratibha from the housekeeping, Mr. Ajun and Mr. Abhishek from the restaurant. We look forward to coming back to this resort. We must say this property by far has been the best Gateway hotel of Tata group that we have experienced. Once again we thank you all for the great hospitality.

We had an excellent stay at gateway bekal. We went to celebrate our anniversary and the staff at gateway bekal made it extra special by decorating our room with cake and chocolates. Each and every staff was good with a warm smile always taking care that we are always comfortable. The food was also very good with the chef personally coming and enquiring with the guests. The cottages were very clean and spacious. The property was amazing. My son had fun with the kite flying and bird watching sessions. Overall fantastic experience. Will highly recommend

The property is expansive and features lush gardens, a clean and well-maintained pool. We took a Premium Cottages with private Jacuzzi with a view of gardens, a biodiversity lake, or the backwaters, my kids just enjoyed 2 nights we spent in this property

Gateway property is very good location for family and friend vacation, food is fantastic and facilities are very good, .

excellent gateway! location is unique. food was awesome. service was excellent. everything was so good. But activities like boating and cricket are rendered at inflated rates.

Room stay was very good and it was clean & tidy. Food spread was nicely chosen but the quality of the food was missing. There was only one local cuisine and I wouldn’t count the taste of it. We requested for some local cuisine but they called back saying not possible to make it. We had an emergency where we called for ice and it was not delivered at all. We had to walk to the restaurant and take it. Room service was pathetic.

Wonderful stay at the Gateway Bekal for a family of 4. The location in nice with walkable distance to the nearest beach. Rooms are huge and accommodated 4 members easily in one room, swiming pool was heated and clean, food could have been better, staffs were very helpful, the parking distance and wait for the valet was a bit disappointing. Overall a great stay.

Our stay at gateway Bekal was excellent as soon we checked in the staff was very friendly especially abdul(receptionist) . While dinning we had wonderful food n ambiance thank you Priyanka for taking care of us when we dint feel good with food u assured us everything is good for us thank you very much
