Poor Stay
There was no separate smoking room in the hotel and the reception person was speaking very rudely and the extra bed we asked them to provide they said that the sofa is only the extra bed

poor quality, disgusting service, 3 star standard or even below
property is near airport and they claim to be a 5star but they don't even match a 3 star quality standard. after checkin I was given room no. 601 and even after 2 hours the room ac was not working. the maintenance guys couldn't make things work as well and after much heated arguments they changed my room to 503. they will not even give you adequate no. of toiletries not sure why.

Pros- -Okay staff behaviour -Extra 6 hrs booking was available for half the room tariff on request -Complementary airport transport -Beautiful city view from room esp at night -rooftop bar and pool with amazing vibes -near to airport -yummy breakfast buffet Cons- -Pool was under maintenance which was not informed to the guests neither compensated for I believe —>was a disappointment as we booked the property keeping in mind the pool -Dingy lifts -compact rooms and hallway -Once you come out, the surroundings are very chaotic and congested Rating-3/5 Wont say value for money

Good Stay
We stayed there because it was closer to the airport and we had an early flight to catch. One pros is they have complimentary airport transfer. Albeit one way but it comes in handy when you are travelling at dawn. The rooms are clean enough. With all basic amenities working just fine. Minimalistic look. Staffs are enough cordial. Overall if i had to stay again closer to the airport i will choose it. Yes one con is the hotel is located though on main street the street itself is very shabby, as in the locality does not have that prime location feel like it is around newtown or saltlake etc. May be its because of a certain population. So a days stay is just fine if you dont go out of the hotel to explore around

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of kolkata, The surrounding area felt safe, and everything we needed was within walking distance or a short cab ride away. One of the standout features of the hotel was its culinary offerings. The on-site restaurant served a diverse menu with a mix of local and international cuisines. A well-maintained swimming pool with sun loungers. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff were truly top-notch. This hotel offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value for money.

Stay at the Soot Kolkata
I visited this property for the second time, courtesy their hassle free checkin in, great hospitality, good rooms and in room dining. Polite and helpful staff also adds to this great hotel.

Excellent Stay
Our recent stay at SOOT was very good. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and provide great hospitality. Room is adequately spacious and nicely maintained. Food quality was also good. Overall, our experience was great and would like to choose to stay here in view of its proximity to Airport which is an added advantage.
