Excellent Stay
I recently stayed at Shiv Shakti Hostel in Rishikesh and had a very pleasant experience. The location is one of its biggest highlights – it’s right beside the Ganga river, and I could clearly see the river from my window, which made the stay even more special. The peaceful surroundings and easy access to local spots made it very convenient. The room and facilities were well-maintained. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless – something I really appreciated during my stay. The hostel overall felt hygienic and well taken care of. Although I didn’t try the food, the atmosphere and cleanliness of the common areas gave me confidence that it would be good as well. Overall, I’d recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Rishikesh who’s looking for a comfortable stay in a great riverside location.

The stay was comfortable. The caretakers are well mannered. Location is close to the river and walking distance from Laxman jhula.

Poor Stay
The stay was below average. The ac wasn't working, so we had a lot of trouble because the weather was hot and humid. The bathrooms were okay. It was neat and clean. The bedroom was average.

It’s was quite nice. First, i got the bed where fan was not working but after that I switch the bed which was good. 9/10 on hygiene

bad environment and bad behaviour, broken property
Door are broken. 2 hrs waiting at check in we check in nesr about 10:00 pm No water , seiling fan is not working , AC is nt working , they behave rudely
